I'm freaked out by your CONSTANT CAPS KEY above all else, please dont do it, it's so unprofessional

I've noticed all kinds of stuff down the staircase. Walter's dads swinging body, a sheep, a dancing baby etc etc.
all of them seem to be in an enclosed cage with a door (Henry's door no doubt)

That has nothing to do with the question you asked...

And yeah, I noticed the twitching babies and what have you :)

All those things are perturbing... Anyway the most interesting for me is that that's the only place in the game where we can find the foggy and dark environments...

Some of the camera angles make it hard to get a good look at what's inside...if someone had camera hack would be great...

There's a mannequin-like body swinging back and forth, and further down, another hanging upside down, twitching, with its legs open.

By the way, it's not a blatant reference - it's hardly a reference at all. You may as well say any spiral staircases are tied in with that album. That makes as much sense as me saying, "Oh look there's a piano in the hotel in SH2. That's a blatant reference to Rammstein's song Klavier." And if I sound harsh, I'm sorry. Just making a point..
I'm not dead yet, dammit.

Besides: There's a film called The Spiral Staircase, produced in 1946. I'm pretty sure it wins.

that, and NIN sucks goat ass in Mexico.

The dancing baby from Alley McBeil is on the stairs...I thought that was pretty lame for a SH game..same for the belching nurses. SH4 really is an awful game with a great story.

That goes along with what Krist. said.

I didn't think the baby was dancing, more like convulsing.

It's also in the dancing animation, just moving really fast.

Gladly. Hummer: Your avatar exceeds the allotted size of 100x100 pixels. I've removed it--partially because it's hideous; also because it's too large--but if you'd like someone in the Indian Runner forum can probably resize it for you--if they can tolerate looking at it for any extended period.

Folks say Ambugotten is a-comin’, but when the end-time comes I’m gonna be long gone. Dead like us. Dead like baby frogs. Dead like Freddy’s backwards dog, yes we’re dead like… You guessed it, ladies and gentleman, dead like God. Thank you very much.
