>but why the hell do they burp cause the game is suppost to be scary and that part is just stupid.
Agreed...it took away from the creepy atmosphere of the game.

Yay ebonics. The twinheads actually do creep me out quite a lot. I like the design and movement of the creature.godspiel wrote:This creeped me out the first time I saw it. History is made by those who say "No."
A friend of mine theorized that the belching was the expulsion of gas from a corpse, which actually makes sense, considering that the burps only happen when you hit them with a melee weapon. I giggled at first too, which I didn't like because Silent Hill isn't supposed to induce giggles. The 8th Aspect wrote:>but why the hell do they burp cause the game is suppost to be scary and that part is just stupid.

Agreed, the twin victims are definately freaky. They also stopped me in my tracks and when they chased me I screamed and ran the other way.... "If" they make a sequal to the movie, I'd really like to see them in it....that my friends would kick ass...

I have a theory concerning those. If you look closely they do actually have a head, but it's upside-down, and thus hanging from the underside of the creature. The 'bum' part you're referring to is actually eh musculature of the shoulders. Significantly, these creatures only appear in the apartment world the second time through, AFTER we've encountered the ghost of Joseph, who is also hanging upside-down. Coincidence? I think not. So for some reason the victims which are not hostile to Henry (Joseph because he's trying to help you, and the twins because they're simply too young) are manifested as monsters.are the bum head things the same thing as a twin victim because they both have no legs

Me and my sister can never get over the burping nurses. At first I thought I heard it wrongly (This forum confirmed it!). That's plain ridiculous and hilarious, I mean burping monster nurses don't make the game creepier... Just imagine those demon babies barfing after you hit them!
Maybe they should make farting nurses in the next game. Haha

Nothing is for sure in life, that's the only thing I am sure of...
It's a weird world, so the weird-looking nurses ought to do weird things. Everything can't be this romantic vision--and no matter how fucked up it all is, expecting nothing to sound funny or awkward is pretty romantic--because realistically, some things just aren't fluid, wouldn't be what you think they ought to be. It's like saying no one farts in the middle of sex. Of course, not every unfortunate truth of some oft-romanticised things has to be showcased in a video game (it'd be pretty disgusting if you always had to walk through all these monster corpses laying in their own piss and shit), but I think it shouldn't be too heavily criticised when it's put in once. I mean, it isn't as though it's an entire game of that sort of thing.

#1 How did we go from "twin victims kick ass" to burping nurses and Pyramid Head?

Double posting is not only a sign of complete laziness on the poster's behalf, but it's a way to spam and get more SH cash that's undeserved. It's quite simple to edit one's post and amend it, and we ask that members do this. If you have a problem, there's really not much that can be done besides dealing with it.
I'm not dead yet, dammit.
"edit" sounds better than "doublepost" , its like answering to your own posts
TV: "You! Come closer, i wont bite ...ill just slam you a little bit!"
