earlier this weekend i was looking at music videos, and i found a particularly old one that i hadn't watched in a while. it was a videogame mod by taking back sunday (this photograph is proof) with, guess what game?

however, it raises alot of questions. none of those scenes are actually in any of the games. were they intended to be? could it mean anything? it's very rare that a video like that could mean nothing at all, especcially since i'm like, 60 percent sure it came out while the game was out.

ofcourse, if this videomod was at all revelent with the game, it would 1. make silent hill 4 awhole lot more interesting and 2. raise so many questions i think my head would possibly explode.

so does anyone think the video might actually have some revelance to the series, or is it just something that someone bored threw together with the purpose of making a musicvideo. you would think they would cross characters from the series as opposed to characters from 2 different games, but you never know.

Ive seen it some time ago but like these 2 fooktards were sayin: Its their work, propably some 3D studio etc stuff, they have simply used game ragdolls and created their own 'fanvid' which has completely no significance to the franchise. Implementing some ghost in spectral form in an Silent Hill related video was very cheap and thats why I find this clip dumb. popcorn chewup

Alright, words to live by. Anyway... I never got a chance to thank you for it, because I'm gonna be honest-- I wasn't exactly SURE if none of those scenes were in SH4, since I did only play to the Subway w/ Eileen. But it didn't seem likely. The whole video seemed..weird. But thanks for clearing it up for me. <3

Nah. Just some people who probably never played the game, just kinda' making things up. Its been like... a year since I saw that video. I think it had an actual "white blanket" ghost...

It has characters from SH4(Henry, robbie the rabbit, the vicitm) and SH3(Heather, and the nurse) but it takes place in rooms from SH3. If you look, the bedroom is Harry's bedroom from the aprtment in SH3 and the room with the chair is the living room in the aprtment from SH3, where you find Harry...yeah. And the hallway looks like the aprtment hallway, but I am not sure, if it is for sure.
They just added the characters and settings together to create a one-of-a-kind video.

1. I'm pretty sure it's the same hallway, infact at one point I could have swore I even saw the savepoint from SH3. =]
2. Yeah, that's what I noticed as well. Same stuff from SH3, but with Henry. I twas confused. Thus why I posted it.

The point of a videomod is to hack the game and make the characters act out a music video, not splice together shots already existing in the game.

That's why it's different.
I'm made one with Deus Ex. :O But it was lost when my old computer's HD died.

yeah, that ghost thing was pretty stupid looking.

i can't comment on the music because the only time i watched it, i had it on mute. ^_^
