FPS mode

ive read somewhere that if u press L1+L2 and some other button, heather will go into a fps mode, similiar to the one in SH4.
Is this true?

First person shooter mode. Basically rather than the camera being over/behind your character, you look through their eyes. Like Henry when he was in his apartment.

It's possible to enter what resembles FPS-like sequences; you can do it from either zooming the camera correctly or utilizing a unique camera angle.



It's nifty sometimes, but not practical at all. There are many instances where you can adjust the camera to be right over Heather's shoulder and the gameplay is still smooth, though.

Maybe this is what i meant, but i think i read on gamefaqs codes/cheats, theres a zoom mode.

Zoom mode is not the same as a FPS mode.

In whichever case, the camera control button is L2 and the camera zoom button is L3. (Press down on the left analog stick.)

Adjust the camera and then press the zoom button if you want to get a better look at things. It's great for picking up on some details.

EDIT Oh, and you can double zoom.

I might add that the zooming on the PC version is much more magnified than it is on the PS2 version.

exactly right kerrigan. but the zoom mode is in first person, as u cannot see heather. thats what it means

That's pretty nifty. I had no idea that pressing L3 activated zoom. I knew about equipping stuff on the item screen and pressing R3 to use it, but that's it. Cool!
