Not a Silent Hill Easter Egg, but...

In one of the police reports about the abduction of Murphy's son, the officer is listed as a Mr. Elliot Benson. This is a reference to two police officers from Law and Order: SVU

When you are in the building that leads up to the Radio Station, you'll find a painting of Samael that even states his name in it. You'll also find a picture of the Sheperd's home I believe in that same building in one of the rooms. I squealed when I saw those!

I don't really see that as a reference. The song was around way before Dexter, and it is clearly meant to mock Murphy as a convict, similar to the JAIL BREAK game machine and other little bits like that.

I don't know. Given Licht's work on Dexter, and the importance of the song in season one (with the finale even being named after it), I have to think it's more than just a coincidence. I can't imagine the developers picking that particular song without Dexter in mind.

I found an easter egg at the orphanage. Some of the notes there are signed by a Dr. Roberta Bloch. This is a double reference. It references Robert Bloch, the author of Psycho, and who the street in SH1 was named after. However, it also references the film From Beyond, where one of the supporting characters is a psychiatrist named Roberta Bloch.

In the parking garage of the Centennial Building, there are some prison papers signed by a Brian Handley, a reference to Byron Hadley from The Shawshank Redemption.

This is no necessarily an Easter Egg, but...does anyone else think that Anne Cunningham looks an awful lot like Laurie Holden? It's...wow. Laurie played Cybil in the first Silent Hill film, so that could make it more likely that she would be a basis of her. Their faces look almost exact.

I haven't found one but someone please tell me that there's a Robbie the Rabbit hidden somewhere.
I have flushed every toilet I have found...just seeing if there is a trophy or if Murphay will say something funny. So far, nothing.

I'm also intrigued why Murphy can flush the toilets. I can't help but think of James and Heather everytime

Sewell looks very much like Stabler from SVU? Especially after the resemblance of SHSM Cybil to Benson. Now I'm just waiting for Ice T to show up in a Silent Hill game...

Yeah, there are a few of those things, and since there were so many of them in previous games, I'd count it. I took a couple pics, but I'm missing at least one:

Dog on the bed also makes me think of the dead dog that was run over in SHSM.

There were a few interesting tips that popped up on the loading screens:
"She is lying to you."
"It knows you're alone."
And a great UV-revealed message in the library that says "sequestered does not equal safe."
I wonder if the name Napier was meant to reference the Joker from the original Batman film, whose real name was Jack Napier?"

^Yes, you can post spoiler free within this thread due to it being in the Spoilers section.
I thought those were pretty interesting, actually. I think I remember one saying "Are you sure you're alone?"
