The title made me think that the images would be from past titles...apparently not
The textures seem a little iffy, I'm no HD-expert, but I know they should be higher quality than that. And if the game is that flat and bright, I'm going to be very unhappy even though it's probably not (video settings may have been changed for screenshots).
The Weeping Bat's design is extremely interesting. I wonder what could add to its symbolism now, with the face design?
Off topic, but I'm starting to think that each monster in Downpour represents a certain type of prisoner or victim of a criminal, the Judge (if it wasn't scrapped) is obviously something representing some sort of authoritative power. It just seems that way to me.

Wow! Those screens are amazing!
I cannot wait for Downpour's release!
I
The Weeping Bat looks actually creepy; and lethal! The Screamers still give me chills though.
Everything looks fantastic!

I like the whole cave idea. That mixed with the Weeping Bats is kinda cool
Shop smart, shop S-Mart.

There's definitely something strange with the textures.
They must've had the quality watered down at that moment.

I like what Im seeing here. And regarding the textures, a lot of people had the same beef with R.E. 5's textures before it was released. But I thought R.E. 5 looked great when I actually got to see it in motion on my TV. So maybe teosoleil is right and it's just the video settings(or whatever settings Vatra had U.E. 3 on when they made these screenshots). Other than that, I like what they've done with the atmosphere. I just hope they fixed any leftover lighting issues they had earlier, and those stiff-ass facial animations as well...
Yep. Just another day in Silent Hill...

It's definitely the settings.
Check out this screenshot from the newest Shatsky interview:
Everything simply looks more polished.

Or it could be a crushing disappointment, or something with plenty of nay-sayers. I am, of course, not alluding to any of the previous games in the series. That would just be silly.Chris Redfield wrote:@ FrankRD- I did, lol. So far Im now very impressed with what I've seen of this game.
