Anyone else wishing there was a PC version?
Looking at the gameplay, SHSM looks like a very souped up point and click/adventure game. I don't like using the Wii remote, and its functions would map to a mouse quite well. It looks to me like the gameplay would be better replicated with a mouse than with PS2/PSP controls, so this not getting one is a bit befuddling.
I dunno, it's just that watching the gameplay made me think of the point and click/adventure games I've played. I'd have probably bought it full price for the PC.

I think it would make perfect sense for it to have a PC release. However, Climax seems to really hate PC's, since Origins and SH:SM would be the only SH games not to end up on PC.
Shame, really. It means I'll only get a chance to play it once or twice on my friends PCP, as I am mostly a PC gamer.
Hm... one can say "PC" so few times with out it sounding ridicules.

It took me waaay to long to get the pun. All this studying is killing my brain.Prisonic Fairytale wrote:I would be like the ultimate game in the Myst series: "Myst VI: Shattered Memories".
Out of all the SH games so far, this is the only one where I've really thought a PC adaptation would not only be welcome because I tend to prefer PC gaming, but also because it would just be pragmatic.

Not really 'cause I'm not a fan of PC games, the whole keyboard gets me confused. Altough you could play with a joystick. But it seems that you guys like mouse and keyboard better huh?
I think that they should do it. So everything would be right, a game for people that likes to play'em on a videogame and a game for people that likes to play on the computer.

That title..........just seems to fit in so well.Prisonic Fairytale wrote:That would bring back fond memories of point and click gaming.
I would be like the ultimate game in the Myst series: "Myst VI: Shattered Memories".
I prefer to play games on the PC using my PS3 controller.

Sh3 was fantastic with a mouse and keyboard. Mapping the keys cut my gameplay time in half. I can finish the game now in 1:50:00
THis game would rock on pc, it seems the mouse is already suited to take the place of the flashlight wiimote, but then again I haven't played the game yet. That being said, it seems as though Harry moves kinda slowly, and regardless of how the wiimote is programmed, it would have to be tweaked so that mouse sensitivity would be able to be adjusted, but that can be programmed if the devs care enough.
So I'll wait and see if we get a PC release, as others have said it does make perfect sense, however SH:H SUCKED on PC so it may have killed off the PC SHs for good.
