"Next game", wich difficulty should I choose?

"Next game", wich difficulty should I choose?
Im playing the game for second time, the time I finished I got the "Live your life letter" from Mary to James, now I want to play for a second time and I see that I can choose the difficulty and the riddle difficulty... what should I pick? does this affect the ending I get?...

You should have been able to select the difficulty level even the first time through
Anyway...
This does NOT affect the ending you get.
Action level Beginner and Easy are very simple to complete, unless this is your first shooting-like game. Normal and Hard are obviously tougher.
Riddle level Easy and Normal do not offer much resistance for the mindfu**ing side of the adventure; Hard riddle level is the only one that matters if you're a fan of puzzles. There's not such a plenty of it, though... just a couple are really time/brains consuming. Just one, maybe.
