Why the cockroaches?

I just click as fast as I can after you change the battery so I don't have to deal with the roaches.

Hmm, I didn't think they were roaches, but big, ugly crickets (they made cricket-like sounds, at least).

Anyway, the 1st time I was in that Labyrinth cell, & didn't see the keypad on the wall & freeked out. I turned off my light (they didn't attack me with the light off) & just started hacking away with a melee weapon for a good 10 minutes before noticing the keypad. Arrgh. I hate bugs.

Yeah, I tried going after them once because I couldn't figure out the keypad thing (hey, I was young then), so I think I wasted a ton of bullets before I realized that I would never kill them all. Oh well

Wait a second... that's before you get to the prison. O.O Not in the Labyrinth.

Sorry, you are correct. That area is before the prison & labyrinth area. But you knew what I meant.
