For starters - I searched for stuff like this, and didn't find a thing, so if there has been these kinnda things before, I apologize. And I'm sorry for just adding another Pyramid Head topic.

Well... I read about this kinnda thing on the UK board of this(I think it was this...), so I thought it would be cool to discuss it with you guys... And plus, when I replayed the game with high lighting, I could notice a lot of stuff... First of all that... tongue of his. I tried it out when I was 'fighting' him in the apartments and he will sometimes grab you with his left hand and strangle you, and a black tongue/tentical-thing comes out of his head and licks James. Uugh... All I'm wondering it, what the hell is that and how come it's there? Is it real? And if it is, what meaning does it have? Unfortunately, I don't have my own screen shot of it, but there is some in that link above. ...

Also, if you brighten up a picture, you can see a small opening in the front of his helmet on the lower left, which is were his tongue supposedly comes out. Is that what it's for? If that does exist, then it would be a bit more explainable why Pyramid Head might had left after James shot him from the closet. Maybe he fired into that opening, damaging him in someway. I don't really see any other reason why he'd leave... since James is the one he's looking for...

Theres some other stuff, too... Just gimme your opinions, guy :3 And please, excuse my ignorance if I have broken a rule or something. I'm still new here!

Yep. All of this has been brought up before, round five years ago when the game came out. It's not exclusive to SHF.co.uk.

The hole is always in his helmet--and there's a small slit in the front of its helmet for it to "see" out of.

I've never noticed that. Also I've never gotten close enough to him in the apartment "battle" for him to touch me. I always scream like a lil bitch whenver I run into him and he's moving. The tongue is probably a sexual symbol. Kinda like (movie)

Well... *Shrugs*

Hmm.. Maybe he used it to smell/feel/see things, like a snake or something? But he runs that thing up James' face, which is... fairly sexual. Also, when he lifts his helmet to kill himself near the end of the game, you can see black ooze sticking from his helmet to his chest.. Is there just goo under that thing? I guess we'll never know that...

Someone once on a different forum brought up Phead's "eye" jutting out from in front of his helmet and provided a animatied gif from the game as proof...but to be honest it was just a bolt....It looked nothing like an eye.

yess thats really interesting. Would love to c a return of the Pyramid Head in SH5. In next gen graphics too so we get more detail. Put that on an HD tv :)

i didnt notice this until i saw it featured in one of the music videos. i think it must have been the fukaro video. the video shows it in action up close and personal. i reccomend watching for it in the video for some more insight so to speak. but yeah i was told its also in the game just not featured so promenently so that if you never get into a scrap with him you may never have got to see the eye hatch or the tongue that comes out from it. *the eye slot is actually a "door" that slides open and closed - he slides the slot open occasionally and a tongue may come out otherwise its closed and is just a rectangular spot on the helmet and not an opening.
actually i think i STILL havent encountered it in the game itself yet.... whatever im still waiting to see heather sit as well hahaha.
there are places to see the fukaro video online however i dont remember where. im sure someone here can tell us again.

I wish I knew how to camera hack in the PC version. I'd love to take a mess of screenshots of the "dead" PH after they stab themselves. thats the best time to see the "accessories" Better yet the true ideal would be to be able to download the actual game model and be able to open it in Maya and look at it that way and pick it apart. :shock:

Hmmm. That explains where he puts his hand in the scene where you first meet him up close. He has this weird movement around the front of it almost like he's going to take it off. Crazy! You learn something new about the crazy bastard everyday! :mrgreen:

SH2 for computer came in the mail today!

Anyway, I FOUND THE PYRAMID HEAD MODEL! Now I need a program that will let me view it, any suggestions?

I hope to God it's not an eye. That would take the magic away from Mr. PH. I think that flap and the tongue thing is a bit of a stretch too... I always found him so scary cause you had no idea what it exactly is. Him having a tongue takes away mystery... But, it also puts more theories in!

Yeah, I think it's a bolt, too. I'm still asking why the tongue is there >_> And what meaning it has. Probably something sexual.
