Maybe we now know what really happened to the guy in the chair in the clock room...You said thorize....Well just off the top of my head...Maybe since all the REAL people in Silent Hill 2 see what they want to see, then maybe, since we as the player see what James sees, then all the dead bodies are what James wants...Punishment for his sins. Witch could then lead to death? Like the "In Water" ending?
But then again...I just did that off the top of my head so don't take TOO much out of it.

I never thought about that...Hey just thought of this. Maybe at each characters death we see what they see. Like Ang and her stairs of fire that was never on the map, and Eddie and his dead bodies of James everywhere. And for James it's whatever ending we get. I don't know, just a thought.

Excellent post! I really like this a lot, and I believe it is what James wants to see. These bodies might be something different looking than what Eddie sees. I think it is infact what James wants to see, because this is almost towards the end of the game, and by that point of time he knows what he has done, and this is what also makes me believe that "In Water" ending is the true ending.

Well, it could be likely because in every game their's always more jammed doors than accessable ones.
All the bodies don't have faces to hide the fact they've used the body texture because they don't feel like making new ones.

There's a lot of jammed doors because the game would be very obtuse if every door were accessible. That's done to keep the game pace fluid.Osmund Saddler wrote:Well....it could be likely because.....in every game theirs always more jammed doors that locked or accessable ones..all they bodys dont have faces just to attemp to hide the fact they've used the body texture because they don't feel like making new ones....and they never show Harry Mason's face on the coach in Silent Hill 3..
The bodies don't have faces because they aren't human and have no faces. That they have the same textures is the point of this thread, because they wear clothing identical to James. If they wanted to make new clothing textures, it would take them maybe an hour to do so. After poring through the game's textures, and seeing the almost-insane level of detail applied to objects you don't even notice, I don't believe that for a second. If easily-noticable textures are repeated, there is most definitely a reason behind it.
And finally, we don't see Harry Mason's face intentionally. You can't tell me they were too lazy to model the guy's face.
I have been playing Silent Hill now for about 5 years...Now with that said, I have found that nothing I mean NOTHING in Silent Hill is there for no reason, or because the game creators got lazy as some of these people like to put it. I mean with a story like the one they have FOR EACH GAME, do you honestly think that these guys get lazy? Or that they just said, "Ya know what guys...It would take to long to model Harrys face (Or a few dead boddies in a meat locker) so lets just take what James looks like and use that. I don't think that ANYONE will even NOTICE." These guys made the GREATEST game of all time and one of the BEST storys ever. If the creator of Silent Hill got lazy and made a game...It would be called Halo. (My 2nd faveorite game is Halo)
