It's close enough for Hollywood, and it's close enough for me. You're right, though, thinking back, it's mostly just the hair, and the general look of being tired and middle-aged.

I think they do look alike. If Aaron gains a few more pounds and is a bit paler, then he'll look much more like James.
For Christina Hoe = Maria, I disagree strongly. Their faces are not alike and they have different body types.

ok he does look like james kinda ill give you that but i think dennis leary can play james better than him. ive been watching rescue me for a while and leary does have that "depressed for no reason psycho hidden in my brain" feel to him.

Dennis Leary would be an awesome James cause he would just spend half the time swearing at the monsters before killing them. The fact that Maria's outfit was modeled after what Christina wore is hilarious

I recon that the guy who plays Ryan in The OC looks like James and occasionaly shows some of his calmer mannerisms. He would make a good James in a film.

I always thought that they just came up with James' design but damn that guy looks a hell of a lot like him.
