Lookie lookie what I found here.....intro bathroom wall

Post by Nightstrike »

First post in quite some time

OMG OMG I FOUND IT (silent hill 2)

I am an occultist and am convinced that silent hill is based upon Kabbalistic lore.
In the beginning of silent hill 2, in the bathroom you can see an odd figure with Hebrew writing.
In taking the real picture to the game they fucked the text up beyond recognition....
I tried translating the text and it was nonsense as a Jewish friend also confirmed to me...

Now in one of my new books by a real Kabbalah scholar.... I finally fucking found it!

From page 321 of Kabbalah by Gershom Scholem
"Detail from a parchment amulet showing the female demon Lilith. Above her are depicted Sanoi, Sansanoi and Samnaglof."
This is the odd drawing on the wall of the bathroom in the intro for Silent hill 2. You cannot see the upper demons, but the figure for Lilith is the EXACT same drawing on the wall in the bathroom

IMO,
This is a big fucking detail because it essentially indicates the cults mythos is bullshit made up stuff and it's the klippothic forces feeding off the pain and suffering of its visitors. This makes way more sense.
Visitors are periodically traveling through the literal world of shells in ha Kabbalah.
And what is silent hill, but a shell of a town?

It's definitely the same image, but forgive my ignorance. What is a klippothic force? I don't know enough about this form of mysticism to quite understand what you mean.

I can see it with eyes closed
Shadows that look like blood
Dead as far as the mind goes
Fear that comes from my head
Lives in the mirror"

This is really, really cool. I want to know more so I'm echoing Droo's question.
A dead person can't write a letter... it's illegal.

I will follow up here but this is going to take awhile. One needs a base knowledge in Kabbalah, I got to look for a video not loaded full of errors.
Most of the stuff in English is very limited

After reading the above required reading watch this talk.

https://youtu.be/LdgjEhWpKF8

I’m listening to this and so far not too many errors:

- generally with the two pillars, the left side is considered the side of evil.
The “other side”. Often you will hear the “dark path” being called the “left hand path”, not to be confused with the Vedic or eastern systems that are also called “the left hand path”, which are not the same as within the context of the western esoteric tradition.
- Also the speaker says the earliest kabbalistic text is the Zohar or then sepher yetzirah but according to *Gershom Scholem in “Kaballah”, it is likely Sepher Bahir.

*Scholem is probably the most respected academic scholar in kaballah

Also another problem, the specific qlippothic correspondences change in various esoteric traditions.

Yeah that's definitely the same figure! Fascinating! I'd be willing to bet that the team was pulling from a lot of various occult sources for imagery for the game. Definitely interested in learning more about the source and meaning of this one.

Wow, major credit for finally tracking this down. I’d always been dreadfully curious what inspired that particular part of the graffiti!

It fits the "Maria exacting revenge on James" to a degree...
I love this game.
