Things That You Dislike

Have you seen Harry's daughter anywhere? Short, dark hair?

Most of the gameplay sucked, though I can see how hard they tried to do something "different". The storyline and the soundtrack were some of the things that I liked the most.

these controls are so clunky
everyone complains about the controls but for a good reason they're baaaad
the other games have the same control scheme until you realize you can change it
other than that its great

Those flying enemies are easily the most annoying in the game. Grey children are a pain in the ass too. In fact, MOST of the monsters are a pain in the ass. The controls definitely feel dated and clunky as hell (especially if, like me, you've played the sequels before playing the original) and I can never get the camera in the direction I want it to go. I also hate how easy it is to miss the guns. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I went right by the shotgun and the rifle with no idea where they were. And to make matters worse, once you leave that area, you lose your chance of ever getting the weapon.

I still love the game though.

1. The axe you find in the antique-shop suck
2. I hate the birds.
3. I REALLY hate those little monkeys, or whatever they are.

I really can't think of anything I dislike about it honestly. Not speaking from fanboyism, but from the dozens of times I've played the game I've always found it very enjoyable and still do to this day.

Jagged textures, naff voice acting, annoying enemies, etc. Those naughty camera angles were creepy on the first playthrough but are rather disorientating and headachy now.

Still love the game though.

I couldn't stand the airscreamers, always annoying when I try to run away and they hit me from behind! D:>
I can't say I hated the voice acting, well just because it brings the Lulz.

I thought that the voice acting was pretty solid except for Michael G's Harry. Kaufmann had a few awkward moments but that had more to do with cringe worthy lines like the ones below than anything else:
Michael Kaufmann wrote:"Have you ever seen such aberrations?"

or
"A military rescue squad should come through here!"
His tone of voice and choice of word emphasis certainly contributed, but those lines really are bad. (Or that could have something to do with the game being translated by Latina America Inc, but I digress.)

After replaying the game, again, today, I realized I absolutely despise the resort area. I had forgotten what exactly needed to be done to do everything needed for the Good+ ending, so I walked around for about an hour trying to remember which buildings to go into. While on this lovely journey, I got tackled by rompers, and just as I got up, an air screamer 'kicked' me. Then, by the time I recovered from the AS and began to run again, a romper jumped on me again. So, after again standing up from the romper attack, I ran away, this time into two or three dogs. This event happened three or four times throughout my stay in the resort area. It was a detestable scenario, to say the least. This was the most annoying thing to happen to me in ANY Silent Hill game.

The Axe. It was the second to last weapon you find and it sucks worse then the knife. It's weak, unaccurate, and extremely disappointing. It hangs up on the wall in the Antique Shop pretending it's important.

The look of it, the presentation, and the time you find it all leads to how disappointing it is.

II) The full charge that Harry is engaged in, when running, which is impossible to stop suddenly.

III) The tank contols.

Funny, I rather enjoy this - it's one of the things that makes me quite fond of the game.

I don't like the melee in this game, I've played it many times and I just can't get used to it.
