They didn't. The games take place in two separate areas.

That's a really cool map you got there. Wasn't all the areas of Silent Hill 1 destroyed by Alessa. ( Entire roads destroyed to stop Harry. ) And that's why they are not shown again after Silent Hill 1.

Dosn't Vincent metion to Heather that alot of the roads are damaged ? So she has to take a alternate road to the Amusement park ?

they are, that's why you can't explore the entire map in SH3, but it's really only one long road to the amusement park.

But it wasn't Alessa who destroyed it right ? Something else ?
