You better stop with the guessing game before this thread gets locked for turning into a game thread.

While im a Christian and i believe in God and Jesus, im not all for witch burnings so as far as i was concerned, she was a fanatic so i was actually glad when she and her followers got what they deserved. Plus the way she and everybody treated that little girl, thats enough motive for the karma is a b*tch line to take effect.

*Spoiler Alert*

With Christabella i hated the character which was cool since she done her job well when playing the character. Christabella took it upon her self to try and Clense Alessa, when in fact there waas nothing wrong with her, she had been sexually assaulted, at least that is what you are led to believe within the movie i guess its about 99% obvious that was the case.

If anyone was at fault it was the Janitor Colin, but for some reason they decided to burn out the "Evil" within Alessa when at that point there was none.

As Alessa says to Rose during the movie "You should be careful how you fight evil, otherwise your devices could come back, and backfire on you" (or at least something to that effect). Basically when they burned Alessa they unleashed there own hell so i don't feel sorry for Christabella.

However evil can not be destroyed by doing evil so in the ending there was no real conclusion Alessa killed Christabella in the most grusome and inhumane way (which was cool!) but at any rate it appeared that Alessa is keeping Rose and Sharon for herself and controlling them and Silent Hill which is what Christabella was doing with her Cult (controlling them).

Korben >>> Hmm....now that you've mentioned it, upon reading your last sentence, I can't help but suddenly think that either way, Rose and Sharon are doomed to stay within the confines of Silent Hill forever.

Its like fighting over the dominance of a certain territory.

If Christabella wasn't killed, Sharon and Rose would still be stuck in Silent Hill.

I do wonder what will happen if Silent Hill was left without Alessa or Christabella in the final end. (eg both died/perished) ....o.o;;
Would Silent Hill even cease to exist?

As in the nightmare and foggy dimensional sides of it.

lol its an interestin concept the only thing i feel is that out of anyone there from the movie's perspective Lisa and Sharon where innocent by standers who suffered there fate by either being transformed or kept within Silent Hill not because they have done anything wrong, but because Alessa decided to punish them or keep them there for her own benefit.

But yeah i am glad it made you think about what i put down i'm glad someone read it to lol.

But yeah to conclude i think that perhaps Sharon and Lisa might be able to be saved, at least Sharon since she has done nothing wrong what so over but is still connected to Alessa. While Rose did help the demon/Alessa enter inside the church therefore helping her to kill the cult memeber inside the church, so i guess she would be seen as a helpful party in the end of the movie.

Well, psychotic serial killers aren't evil, they just don't know better. The live in their own world. That's almost what you're trying to say. I understand that she didn't know better, and that that was what she was taught and what she grew up by, but that doesn't justify it or make it not "evil."

Evil is a strong word that escapes definition. It's all about interpretation, and perspective.

Even if burning evil was what she was taught, she still burned Alessa and Cybil out of zeal and clouded judgement, and tried to burn Sharon out of selfishness. She wouldn't have burned anyone if she wasn't saving herself (with the others as side notes) from the Darkness.
Hurm...
