The Gray Children freaked me the fuck out, i was switching positions in discomfort at that entire scene... So well done.

hmmm... it's a toss up with the children and pyramid head. i thought all the monsters were good and i loved how the boss appeared.

I think I will say the Acid spitting thing. I'm not sure exactly what its called. But in addition to its appearence, which was true to the game,

exist in the foggy-ashy part of silent hill. I am not compleatly certain, but I don't think the others were able to do so.

I gotta say pyramid head, the sound of the great knife scraping the ground made me excited to see him come onto the screen. There are few other villans that you can hear coming and get excited about.

Even though i haven't played sh2 I think that the pyramid head and the boss were both good but

First of all, I LOVE THAT DAMN MOVIE...And, I didn't like a certain monster, all of them were awesome. I love how Christophe did everything in the movie.

That Janitor freaked me the fuck out because I had not seem him before. His screams were so inhuman: Like he was being disembowled!

Those grey children were very creepy and unnerving. The way they would screech just made me stir in my seat.

ummm, the janitor! he was a freak. woah. the acid spitting thing looked way too fake....

so the janitor and uh... the nurses. yeah. really enjoyed the nurses.

Definitely a tie between PH and The Boss. She kicked ASS! I wish I had all that barb wire to rip people to shreds with. Fuck yeah.
The nurses looked DEAD on! and sexy. :p They did a great job with the monsters.
The janitor was a little sick freak, too. But he wasnt as cool as The Boss (Alessa right? It kinda looked like that girl Anne)

As much as I was freaked out by the Janitor and the Grey Children. I have always had a special place in my SH heart of hearts for those nurses since I first saw them in SH2.

The "boss" was imho, the worst of all. When they showed Alessa's smile in the basement, with the lighting, it worked, but fully in the light, as just a "normal" burn patient, she looked like Mini-Me to me. That, and a ripoff of the Doctor from Hellraiser II. They should have had her SH-ed in some way, or maybe just like the White God from the first game. The ending was so overdone anyway.

I thought the lying figure was done the most accurately. The grey children were the only things to scare me (previously I thought they look absurd, but they really worked in the film. Shame they never recycled anything but PH). The nurses and PH are tied, both were equally awesome. The Janitor seemed also too Hellraiser and out of place, also rather unimportant imho opinion as a plot device. Having molsted Sharon really didn't need to be in there. At least with Angela, it was used as a plot device for her killing her dad. This tidbit seemed included as a means to actually explains Gan's creation's existence in the story... The roaches having faces was pretty Jim Henson to me... looked funny instead of scary to me.

I would have been fine without the roaches/beetles. They just made everything look too busy.

i liked the roaches, however (haha) it did remind me of the mummy! i think they would've been better without the faces, but it added some humor to the film, imo. much like the scene where Dahlia gets hit in the face with that rock by the girl who gets skinned alive.
