Re: Lying Figure

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. Sometimes, a fleshly writhing acid-spitting back-bending thing is just a fleshy writhing acid-spitting back-bending thing that stands in for venomous bitching.

Re:

Thanks 'The Adversary'. Does anyone have any more insight into the Main Theme - i.e. what his influence was for it. Any articles or links ? When I was asked to write the ending theme song for "Silent Hill" by sound director Mr. Yamaoka a few months ago, I was thrilled! When I first had an...

Re: How Do I Know The OST Is REAL?

This intrigues me, because I got my SH1 ~ SH3 OSTs on Ebay for a nice price and yet they look precisely like the official releases, down to every last detail (disk's design, the "obi" that comes on the side of the CD with Konami's logo, etc.). Huh. That's quite a thorough bootleg.

The Hilltop Building Center has a very clear shot of it once it turns over to the otherside -- I think right after you burn the portrait and climb through the hidden door. It's also present in the Hospital's otherside, but not as easy to see.

The nurse knew Mary was on her last legs when she was dismissed from the hospital. That's probably a good time as any to give James the letter, since any interaction after Mary's release (between the nurse and James) would more than likely cease to exist.

a new composer That's one of my biggest concerns. I mean, Yamaoka was the last thing that was, of essence, Team Silent. With a new composer, who knows how the new game will feel/sound? Yamaoka was always good at making things tense even when you were completely safe. And yet he compose the most bea...

I don't know why some people are being sandy about this. I will say, however, that though I didn't personally connect Eddie's victims to the bodies strewn about in the prison abyss, I did notice the similarities. I don't think that's coincidence or laziness, given the incredible detail to background...

They do that enough now and it's still not funny.

There are only two versions of Promise in the game -- the reprise (with Angela) and the ending theme, as you mentioned. What you have is likely a fan mix.

>So you wouldn't want a redemption-based ending?< Depends on who's seeking redemption. From the scenarios I can assemble based on my limited memory of the film, there aren't any I can foresee being enjoyable. Unless Chris kills Rose w/ his car, Christine -style. That'd be badass. Considering Chris ...

What purpose would they have to hang meat from the ceilings? O_o "I want to say it had around fifty cells." That's not that large, really. If it's one person per cell, fifty people are kept there (if you assume each cell is full). If double, one hundred -- again, assuming that they're all...

I actually like SH4. I was only commenting on how people still won't shut the fuck up about it being "horrible." >honestly the dogs really have no symbolic signifigance in the series at all. Ah, that's not entirely true if you look at their SH3 incarnation. I pointed out the shared monster...

So you wouldn't want a redemption-based ending? Because I think Avary said he wanted to aim for that (or forgiveness) in the first movie's ending but he and Gans came to disagree about how the do-bad..ders should meet their end.

I wish I kept a stockpile of these interviews for reference.
