I'm the same way. I still appreciate it, but the controls are terrible on anything but easy. I still can only barely beat the game on medium.

The story and environments are top notch, but then you have to play it.

yeah but being a psychological horror (or survival horror whatever you wanna call it) i expect it to actually be, uh you know scary. and i haven't played all the way through sh1 but i will say sh2 was still a scary game in general. The alternate worlds weren't as over the top but it still was prett...

It's not like they grinded or something, let's not blow this out of proportion.

It wasn't exactly subtle either, though. I didn't mind it. It was what it was.

Nillian, I thought you would have something to say Rolling Eyes . I'm not sure where I said "every single member who worked on Homecoming worked on G.I. Joe videogame" . Again, how can you critize the substance of my posts or threads without actually reading them. You did the same before ...

So, according to you, if the prefer the first 4 SH games to Homecoming your an elitist???? No, you're an elitist if you prefer the first four games and then completely bash anything that comes after them without giving any real, plausible reasoning. Because "Team Silent" didn't make them....

I can't believe this thread is still going on. People are not going to agree or change each others minds about the game......that been said......SH:H Is a truly awful game. In addition it's a pretty lazy attempt at a SH game. Jesus Christ. I thought I'd seen the last of you in this thread. There we...

I'm sure the exact same team, in fact, every single member who worked on Homecoming worked on the G.I. Joe videogame.

What bullshit. Ginjajacob once again makes another feeble attempt to fuel the flames but doesn't really bring anything of value to the table. I'm noticing a trend here.

I don't know if he's actually kidding because he bashes Homecoming quite a bit.

And there aren't really any rules that are broken, since there aren't really any rules; it's just something else to bash Homecoming on since people are running out of real reasons to bash it nowadays.

You are correct. The hotel burned down in the span of three years when Mary was sick. The hospital as we first see it in the Abyss is as it was when James and Mary went there all those years ago. Only after learning the truth does it begin to reflect the state that it's actually in: for the most par...

Um, yeah. That's sort of the whole point behind Pyramid Head raping (or having consensual sex with) monsters. Because James wanted sex, yes. But that doesn't explain away the room completely. The filth in the wire mesh above the room can't be explained away by saying it represents James sexual frus...

I understand, it just wouldn't make sense for this room to be a reflection of anything but Angela. What, is James feeling some female oppression, or something? Has some male dominance been thrust upon him while Mary was sick? I just don't understand why this whole thing has flipped completely since ...

I like specificity. I thought the question was pretty easy to understand, myself. Why is she in THAT room? Why is she in it if it doesn't have ANYTHING to do with her? With "what we know about Silent Hill 2," if we can't step into other people's Otherworlds which was shot down before as a...

What other purpose would she have for being in that room though? And who would it be meant for if not her? This is the whole part of the thing I'm having trouble understanding.

I don't recall u responding to this either Nillin. Its funny because you go around saying nobody gives valid arguments for why homecoming isn't as good but when someone gives u one you don't respond to it. Maybe you can't provide a valid argument for why you think homecoming is so great The first p...

This is both in terms of backdrop (Silent Hill the Movie) and story (Silent Hill 2). Yes, the very few well-used visual cues. Those ruined the game. And I seem to have missed the story. The one from Silent Hill 2 that's in here somewhere. Hmm. I think the fact that Pyramid head (Sorry, Boogeyman) i...
