Re: Harry was going to pass away eventually
This immediately made me think of "Hometown" from the SH3 OST. The rest of the bar laughed at him Only I felt my hope grow dim They found him dead the very next day "No more stories from him," I heard them say We blamed bad luck for his fate Only I felt terror so great So, there ...

Re: How Much of the Music Will Be Remade?
The (excellent) rework of Magdalene in the reveal trailer indicates piano isn't going anywhere for the soundtrack. I'm happy about this, honestly. I don't think that the original music somehow makes the game less scary. I think it's great the way it is. In my mind, they should gently tweak it. Also...

Laura, too!The Adversary wrote: ↑26 Oct 2022 If anything, I'd just like to see them arriving in town, not exploring it. Like, start Angela's scenario running out of her murder house, or Eddie hopping in his murder van and peeling out, and then ending, like Maria's scenario, when they arrive in Silent Hill.

Lefty here. I wear my watch on my right wrist for this very reason.Lifetolifeless wrote: ↑22 Oct 2022 I've heard similar things about watches, wearing it on your non-dominant hand to minimize likelihood of bonking it into things when workin' with tools in tight spaces.

Re: Silent Hill 2 remake has reached the late stage of production
I guess I have to decide between upgrading the GPU in my gaming PC or actually hunting down a PS5, at this point. I remarked to a friend the other day that history is repeating itself. I had to upgrade the GPU in my PC to play SH2 back in the day. Now, I'm considering the exact same scenario. Life i...

Re: Silent Hill 1 American commercial?
I remember seeing that ad in a magazine when I was younger. Always thought that was a great line. In fact, that may be the very ad that inspired me to pick up SH in the first place. All at the mature age of ~10-11.Don't be afraid of the dark. Be afraid of what it's hiding.

Silent Hill Anniversary Fan Film
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCvaEYYR78o Have you guys seen this? I just ran across it today through a post on Reddit (apparently, a sequel is being planned.) While there were some nice bits here and there, I found myself seriously disliking this film. I felt like it resembled SH2 in only a very b...

I too like this idea, it never occurred to me before. I would have called bs if not for the fact that the incident in question happened in the school. Good thinking!

Re: MOVIE ENDING THEORIES!
After seeing the official trailer last week, I began to wonder about Sharon/Alessa's fate at the end of the movie. I saw an apparent screenshot from the new movie where Heather comes across Rose at some point. She looks exactly the same as she did at the end of the first film. So, the question there...

Re: Who was the Alex's Dad cutting (possible spoilerz)
I got the impression he was just skinning something he'd killed. He reacted the way he did to Alex, because Alex was obviously much younger at the time and Adam didn't want his son playing around in a room with blood, gore, and very sharp objects like a hunting room. Even if he was the chosen sacrif...

I seemed to miss that when I played through. I usually play through the first time paying attention to the story and such. It's usually later that I start picking up on subtle things like that. I only played SHSM once, looks like I need to give it another go.

I'd say about nine out of every ten sexual metaphors in Silent Hill 2 are completely fan-invented I'd have to rate my agreement with that statement around 75%. Joking aside, I understand where you're coming from with that. Or.... poisonous words from an angry wife. Nice. I like that. Can't say I as...
