Re: Scariest Moment of the Game

I have not done many side quests on my first play through, so I can only go by the main story. Here the part that freaked me out the most was the train ride through the caverns, when things start to go crazy and the mine workers kept coming closer. I wanted to scream at Murphy "Don't blink!!&qu...

Re: My hypothesis about a certain character...

I had wondered too about the prisoner being Ricks, and considered the names (Bobby Ricks - Ricky). But there are many people out there that are using their last name as some sort of nick name. Ricky simply sounds funkier than Bobby, maybe that's the reason. I am not saying that Ricky is DJ Ricks, bu...

Re: The thief in the apartment .

I agree, I too ran across multiple sort of Murphy lookalikes. I do think though it is not for a very particular reason. Probably mostly for all the good WTF moments, with no deeper meaning to it.

Re: The Claudia Corpse

It is just a re-use of the model, if at all. Just like they re-used the model of Angela for the dead person in the mall in SH3. It is called laziness and recycling. Why make a completely new model for an unimportant dead body if you can just use a model of a previous game and change it? The corpse b...

That test got on my nerves because I was like WTH they all don't tell me anything. So I just picked them randomly, about 50% on each side.

Mine was very accurate except for the whole being bad in bed thing. My husband never complained. Then again he got the same thing there in his evaluation when he finished the game. Maybe we both are horrible in bed and so we don't notice  *does not believe that* The neat and tidy thing is h...

Awesome thread. I was talking to my sis the other day on msn about Shattered Memories because she didn't play it yet, and I was trying to find pics of the characters different looks. Some of these here I haven't seen before either. Old Dahlia looks horrible no matter what. Young Dahlia looks best in...

I think those things are creepy as hell, and way more disgusting looking than the monsters in the game.
I was surprised and impressed though the first time I heard about his being the inspiration for the monsters since I never heard about him before.

I was always under the impression that the Eileen who tags along with you =/= the same Eileen in the hospital in that one is physical and the other is a 'dream Eileen.' The dream Eileen's injuries are, of course, severe, but they also get worse over time since she's cursed and that the more serious...

Yeah, but a broken arm, black eye, bruises and cuts gone within less than 24 hours? I know it's their job, but they must have been REALLY good at it then.

Nope, finishing the game one time is enough, on the next game you will automatically find the chainsaw on the path from the observation platform to the town.
You can't miss it.

Eileen magically healed *spoiler*

I just checked the quicklinks and used the search function, but didn't find anything about it. In the good endings, I wonder how Eileen seems to be pretty much undamaged when Henry visits her in the hospital? This is only the next day, meaning at the most 24 hours went by. The day before she had a b...

Yeah I kinda figured something like that is happening, and I always wondered how he managed to pass off a baby as a seven year old girl, b/c Douglas's notebook says that official records list heather as being 24. Did it say official records? I really don't remember right now what was in there, but ...

I wish they'd just make a completely new story. But I think there is no such thing anymore in the Silent Hill universe. But for some reason I always thought Silent Hill 4 would actually make a good movie. As much as it lacked for being the most awesome Silent Hill game, it would work pretty well as ...

I think that after her experience in Silent Hill she grew up really fast. She sees the world different, because now she KNOWS that there are secret, dark, dangerous things going on in this world and hardly anyone knows about it. She seems like that kind of person who grows stronger after that. With ...

In my opinion I think the In Water ending is the one least likely to happen. The suicide we hear in this ending is James driving his car down into the lake. Now if that doesn't leave any traces... Plus the first ending you get normally is the Leave ending. I never felt that the game has an overtone ...

As far as I remember the caller is referring to Alessa's birthday, after all he even says HAPPY 31st Birthday! Which is Alessa's 14 years plus Heather's 17 years.
