I can't...I can't...the fact we went from Silent Hill looking like a dead franchise to Del Toro is just heart stoppingly awesome. I haven't been this excited for a new entry since they announced Homecoming, and I highly doubt this one is going to leave fans burned.

Sadly I'm just not that excited for Downpour. I felt burned by Shattered Memories, so I'm going to wait and see if there's a demo or something before I buy this one. They still haven't shown any monsters I found remotely interesting, and expendable weapon systems usually drive me up a wall. We'll see.

The idea isn't awful, but it would be a lot nicer if the hands didn't look like they came from a cheap halloween costume kit.

TBH I initially thought BoM sounded ridiculous (and a quest sharing Valtiel still does), but if they can actually successfully merge RPG elements into a Silent Hill game, I'll buy a Vita for it immediately. This preview definitely gave me high hopes for it.

Still "meh" on Downpour though.

I don't know, I think taking a Closer and shoving a ballerina into its back takes the cake when it comes to stupid and uncreative.

Releasing Downpour near games such as Arkham City, Skyrim, and Modern Warefare 3 is suicide business-wise. To be fair, the SH4 trailer was creepy as hell, and that turned out to be a disappointment for a lot of people. I do wish they had shown some gameplay, but since the release is so far off, I guess there's not much to show.
