Re: Question About One Of The Endings

Do people go to jail for a long time in the USA for something as insignificant as stealing a car? You wouldn't go to jail for very long in Canada, if at all, for that. Wasnt it a cop car that he stole? I do believe here in the USA some squad cars have weapons in the trunk. I bet that could factor i...

Re: Scariest Moment of the Game

For me : When you are in the parking garage of the Centennial building and you go into the security shack to open the elevator. You see the wheelchair guy head for the elevator - I was like "NOPE". I also thought it was creepy how you can see wheelchair tracks throughout the whole game wit...

Re: BBFC rates Book of Memories and reveals UK release date

Looks like the game has been delayed. :( Don't know how this effects the UK release, but man, what is the deal with all the Silent Hill games getting delayed recently?

Re: There's no such thing as stupid questions ... Downpour F

Here's my go at the questions. :) 1. I believe the game is related to "Downpour" not because Murphy's kid drowned, but because of both deaths that occurred in the prison showers. It is emphasized that the showers need to be running in order to obscure the murders. Showers = rainstorms, or ...

Re: New filming location

Based on the look of the outside my vote leans toward the Hospital, but I see how it could also be the Church or just some random Otherworld location.

An accidental crime is way too easy for the player to absolve the character of, provided he isn't being a douche about it. It's a little too straightforward for Silent Hill (and, more importantly, the direction the series has been going). What we need is a crime that was committed willingly, perhap...

I really hope it doesnt end up being a AU, I like my Silent Hills to be all related and interwoven, makes analysis much more interesting.

It's a 1948 Ford Pickup. Also, you notice the WELCOME TO SILENT HILL sign with a much more modern appearance late in the trailer, and the impression I get is that the Otherworld of this game may be of a town abandoned for half a century. This is what I was curious about. :P I am well aware that the...

Age of truck seen in trailer?

After watching the trailer I noticed something and have some questions. About halfway through the trailer the main character comes to the road that is broken and there is a truck perched on the edge. It looks to me like a very old model truck. Does anyone know what type of truck that is and when it ...

That would be very not cool.
I tried the Silent Hill games on mobile and ipod, and they are sad making.

Awesome find. I had to fire up the game and have a look for myself just to be sure and sure enough it's there. The depth in these games makes me happy.

I thought the drill scene was cool except that while you are breaking free from the restraints Judge H just kinda pays no attention to Alex at all. @_@

One of the pros for me was being able to see Pyramid Head in current gen graphics.
Other than that I thoroughly enjoyed the story and thought it was well done.
The combat was better than previous iterations in the series but still left a little to be desired for me.

Do you think it would still have supernatural elements even without the Otherworld? Would the main character still contend with "gods" and their inner demons, etc? Surely the area around Silent Hill would be able to manifest it's power somehow even with no Otherworld existing.
