It seems that while downpour is a return to the roots of silent hill, it is plagued by technical issues. Freezing, screen tearing, etc. unless Konnami is willing to patch it, downpour may be killed by these issues. I haven't picked my copy up yet, but when I do, I hope it isn't as bad as people are ...

It is likely that the secret achievements/trophies are for the story, so your "Complete the game" achievement is likely there, just hidden.

That's Silent Hill for you. The only commercial I remember seeing for a Silent Hill game, was Homecoming, and that was on youtube. The series has always been a niche title, even when it was still young. That is why I'd never expect them to release a commercial, especially not with today's other type...

I'd support such a delay. The more polish, the better game is released. While Whitney's article did get me excited, I am patient enough to bid my time until Downpours release. That, and I've got other games (RE: Revelations, Saint's row the Third, Sengoku Basara Utage, etc.)
