Silent Hill Heaven

I've never used the knife. I find it to be worse than useless. It doesn't do very much damage and it's range is terrible. I prefer the katana.

I almost liked the sanitarium. It looked real creepy and there were a lot of monsters. However all the backtracking and otherside trips took away from the atmosphere of the level.

Origins wasn't a bad game. I didn't really mind the breakable weapons. What confused me was the flauros puzzle. This is one of the more amusing threads I've seen in a while.

It was a good video. I think they should have gone with this version.

I'm not going to get a wii for a game that may or may not be good.

They shouldn't bring her back. Mainly because it would be hard to produce a new story for her. I don't think there's much else she can offer the series at this point.

Not every random object represents something. The refrigerator is where you find one of the rings in the asylum.

I don't think the series is going to die if SH5 is a flop. There have been many crappy games that keep getting horrible sequels made. So a series as good as Silent Hill stands a good chance of getting a few more sequels.

It really doesn't matter much if it comes out on the 360 first. It'll be the same on both consoles.

It's not possible to directly turn a game like SH2 into a movie anyway. Most of the game involves James walking around town by himself fighting monsters. SH2's story just wouldn't work as a movie with out major changes.

The voice acting and script were pretty bad, but what really annoyed me was the fact that the game was basically a RE1 clone.

So basically the otherworld is endlessly rotting without actually falling apart.

It was probably a combination of the algapphotis and the lack of the proper rituals. Also it had a physical body, and anything with a physical form can be killed. It probably isn't really a god to begin with. It seemed more like a greater demon to me.

SHO isn't the best game in the series, but it's not the worst one either. The levels were scary. The item fetching was a bit tedious at times. I thought the puzzles were done fairly well for the most part. The inventory was organized much better in this game than it was in previous titles. I felt th...

It really doesn't matter which ending they'd pick for the movie, because the movie probably won't live up to the fan's expectations anyway. Hitman was pretty good as a cheesy action movie.

Maybe some other cult will take over.

Thats a good point about the movement controls. The camera was less disorienting as well, but I didn't care much for the new melee combat.

That sounds like it could be cool.
