I'm almost positive that it's the fact that she let her child get burned.

Her behavior and reactions don't really support the other. Had she truly meant it as "what have I done? Having a child outside of wedlock?" I doubt she would have been as distraught.

as much as I hate to say it, ^^^ Pyramid Head really did seem pointless. He did not serve a purpose as he did in SH2. I understand how his purpose could be twisted for the movie, but it was a purpose that could have been carried out by any other monster. It wasn't mandatory in my opinion that Pyrami...

That was taken in 1999. SH2 was not released until 2001. They totally ripped off her outfit. Down to the damn belt/belly chain!
