I didn't like the forest 2nd time because of that guy that burned. i thought he was funny at first...then he started to become an asshole.

Forest world, second time. It's was excrutiatingly tedious having to go through all the sections of the map trying to find wells/body parts

I hated Forest World part 2 also. Especially since Walter can show up randomly and shoot you from offscreen.

I was just like "WTF!, Ghosts cant have guns!"

Quoted for truth. I didn't like the Forest world the first time. The second time was just one long, painful fetch quest. A fetch quest during an escort mission. It's the videogame equivalent of having a tree trunk jammed up your ass.

I hated the Forest World the 2nd time around with Walter chasing me all over the place. I also didn't like St. Jerome's because it was too short.

The forest world was pretty tedious the second time. Not really scary, just sort of of legging it and trying not to get shot...where's the atmosphere?

I disliked the subway episodes the most. Apart from the kinda cool (though definately ring-esque) ghost the 2nd time round. Running up and down and through the bloody train mazes, not to mention the never ending esclators of frustration!

definitely hated those wall fuckers.

those things got REAL annoying.

i'd say the apartment world 2nd time.

especially since walter could warp all over the place.

that got old after a while.

It's my third playthrough of the game, and i'm incredibly embarrassed to say that i've forgot where you pick up the torch. It is indeed the most tedious world in the game, even moreso when you are stuck on something stupid.

Id have to say forest world too. Everytime I'd try to run past Walter, stupid Eileen wouldnt be able to keep up and I would accidentaly end up leaving her in the screen with him. :x Then I'd come back to get her and she'd be ten times more banged up that before!! :x :x :x Oh yeah and the well thing pissed me off too lol.

That's what I did...left Eileen in the centre section alone and went off by myself. It didn't end up soing me any favours later on though when she started babbling prophecies etc.

The Water Prison.
This place really got on my nerves with the whole rotate the sections
deal while climbing up and down those fucking ladders. Then if you want to
get the Tazer Gun later you have to do this all over again. Just
a real pain pain in the ass.

Here I am, a Silent Hill fan to the core... and I've only played up to the point of the Forest, 2nd time around. I just couldn't get into this game for some reason. It didn't feel like Silent Hill to me.

But I must agree, the prison irritated me, and I haven't played SH4 since it came out. The rotating of the holes sticks out in my mind and I would never want to do it again. It's too bad I feel this way... I REALLY REALLY want to LIKE this game.

I thought the Water Prison was the coolest, it was very very eriee and creepy and just thinking about what all went on there, yeesh.

I didn't like the Subway much. It felt more like a 'HEY GET PAST SOME OBSTICLES GO GO GO GO' instead of the usual Adventure Game with a Horror and Combat Twist that the other games gave, especially considering how direct it is.

i loved the water prison too.

it was so ambient, and all the weird noises going on, the letters, just the general feel of the whole place.
