would like to hear that, sad that the links are deadVIVIsect wrote:I'm currently in the process of re-uploading the collection. The new file will also contain various samples listed throughout this thread which were not previously available.
EDIT:
Also, if anyone is interested... I've been playing around, creating my own "Titanium Rhythms"-type Silent Hill inspired industrial percussion loops. There's 20 in all, and If you want them, help yourself:

I basically just took some single hit explosion/metallic hit/impact samples, mapped them out in Kontakt, and recorded some beats. I then took the beats and mangled the pitch and tempo in Ableton Live. Lots of fun.

from track 75 to ongoing has a lot of the ambience samples (or at leat very similar)
and also some industrial samples
so probably in megaton bomb 2 there are more samples, does anybody have it?

Re: Samples used by Akira Yamaoka
I checked CD 2, track 75+ of Megaton Bomb, but I don't recognize any of them from SH1. Only track 75 contains slightly reminiscent samples, but nothing that's actually in SH1. The majority of those analog synth-y sounding samples in SH1 are from Ambient 1 (the original CDDA release) AFAIK.sugarhoticedtea wrote:Oh damn! cd2 from megaton bomb 1 by bfa has some sh1 samples

I'm also interested in Megaton Bomb 2 though. That one was produced by Jason Jones, who also did the Titanium Rhythms libraries (which Yamaoka definitely used).
Also, about the Main Theme sample - is that from the first or second volume of Hans Zimmer Guitars? I can't find anything that exactly matches that name, and there are guitar tremolo samples in both.

sorry,i meant cd1,from track 75 ongoing in CD1 are a lot of samples that ,at least, sound as if they were used in sh1 such as this one in track 75:Nisto wrote:I checked CD 2, track 75+ of Megaton Bomb, but I don't recognize any of them from SH1. and yes it is in VOL2,that you can find in Audio z,it is in the mandolin folder and is called "mandotrem" in nki,now im in trouble with that sample because the first notes "E,Eb,D,D#" from the song, are exactly the same in the patch, but the A that is after those notes is different, like if it has another sample on it,idk, you should check it
Edit-
Also, goddamit ambient vol1 and vol2 are fricking imposible to find not even to buy,but to download,im mostly interested in the "i'll Kill You" organ sample, also speaking of organs, you know anything about the organ sound used in "kill God" in sh3? it sounds very cool

Re: Samples used by Akira Yamaoka
Ah, okay. That one does sound quite similar to the sound in Led Into Madness, but I don't think it's the same. It sounds a bit like a mix of two of the samples that are actually used, and one of them has previously been found to be from Poke III.
Sample 1: [from game]
Sample 2: [from game] [from Poke III <- downmix to mono and pitch it up by ~15%]

Re: Samples used by Akira Yamaoka
I am new to the forums, but have been sample hunting for a while now. I managed to find the bell-like sample used in Null Moon (SH2) in Zero-G Tremor.
