Post subject: Where did mary die? (spoilers in thread, not title) |

I want to discuss where james may have killed mary. In the video we see james smothering mary on a white bed with rounded headboards. The same bed shows up on the roof of lakeview hotel: The same exact bed is also shown after the Mary fight on the rooftop: ( possibly their home?) Here is the bed in room 312: Seeing how the bed is not identical, in shape and size, this proves mary was not killed in room 312. My theory is that after Mary was released home from Brookhaven (?) james killed her at home, in her bed. What are other people's opinions?

That's almost a consensus, except for those who believe, like me, she was killed at an undisclosed location near Silent Hill.
Note. The same bed is seen floating during the audio tape flashback.

I always figured she was killed at home, with the stipulation that home is a few hours' drive from Silent Hill.

It burned down before the game started, remember? I'm inclined to believe he did it at home. I haven't got any evidence, or any real reason to think that, but if he had killed her anywhere else, then surely someone would've seen him hiding a body in the boot of his car.

^Do we know FOR SURE that she's in the trunk, though? Wasn't that idea just from that one book? (Either way, I still like it.)

I am among those who believe it happened at their home.

Helldescent, you should add a poll to this thread. Assuming that glitch gets fixed. It would be interesting to see how the numbers fall.

I also believe it happened at their home.
I remember reading Mary came home days before her disease would kill her, and James suffocated her at night.

Yep always believed it happened at home.
I figured it was after they sent her home since they had no way to cure her illness.

I thought it was the hospital, then I realized people would have seen, then I found out she had gone home, so yeah, probably home, then he put her body in the trunk, went into denial and started having delusions, i like the idea of her being in the trunk, idrk why, i just do,

The games: Homecoming, Origins, and Shattered Memories, did nothing wrong whatsoever, they were developed well, and did things different. Just because they were not by Team Silent doesn't mean that they're bad games. I believe in this series. I believe that one day, we can have a game that will make all Silent Hill fans Happy. I believe that Silent Hill Downpour can achieve this. Team Silent may be gone, but their series isn't. Instead... it's here, it's alive. If you agree, add it to your sig.

Killed at home, corpse in the car's boot(Afraid of someone finding it on the bed?), so we can get the In Water and Rebirth endings.

Actually, its unknown where james puts mary's body. In the Water Ending, we hear james slam his driver's door, and drives into When he says: "Now I can be with you forever Mary", he means he will be with her in death. Not that he put her in the trunk. And Thank You AuraTwilight.

That might be the worst possible thread title in the history of thread titles. Do you not realize that's the biggest fucking spoiler in the series?
