OST tracks and the cutscenes they play in?
Is there anywhere to find out the cutscene in which each song from each soundtrack plays? In some of the games (like SH2) it's hard to tell what's playing in the background, especially when you're paying more attention to the dialogue, and I'm really curious.
Is there an existing place to find this out, or will someone help me compile a list here? @_@ Or should I just go and YouTube them, haha.

Re: OST tracks and the cutscenes they play in?
I'm not aware of any specific list that has been compiled, but if you were really itching to find out one in particular I would assume you could find a video with the cutscene on youtube where someone has asked and been answered.
Re: OST tracks and the cutscenes they play in?
Hmm. I guess I could do that, but I'm after all of them pretty much. I feel like it adds to the experience of hearing the music to know the cutsene in which it plays, and so the meaning that's meant to be conveyed through it? If that makes any sense at all, haha.Typographenia wrote:I'm not aware of any specific list that has been compiled, but if you were really itching to find out one in particular I would assume you could find a video with the cutscene on youtube where someone has asked and been answered.

Oh, I'm pretty good at this, I think.
I will make a list of that, at least of SH2 for the moment.

Re: OST tracks and the cutscenes they play in?
Oooh, really? I would love you forever. I know most of the ones for SH2 I think, but some of them I just can't tell.
Theme of Laura is the intro, White N0iz is the bathroom, Forest (though not on the OST) is the graveyard scene, Promise (Reprise) is the second meeting with Angela, I THINK Darkness That Lurks in our Mind is the one where you ditch Maria in a hospital room, Magdalene is after the hospital chase, Reverse Will is for the Rebirth Ending, True is after the video in the hotel, Betrayal is Maria's death by twin PHs, Theme of Laura (Reprise) is the staircase, and Pianissimo Epilogue is credits for the Leave Ending maybe?

All right, nice! Thank you! I had no idea Angel's Thanatos played in the In Water ending (the one ending I CAN'T SEEM TO GET ASJKDHF) and I can't believe Terror in the Depths of Fog isn't even in there, it's so good. ;A;

Oh man you guys rock so hardcore! I'm extremely happy with all this.
SPECIFIC QUESTION THOUGH. Your Rain from SH4?! It's my fave song from all the soundtracks and I've no idea where it plays, if...at all in-game. I don't recall ever hearing it.
