Graffities...

Post by KageReneko »

Somebody knows if this graffities can mean something?

In a building near to the apartments you can see a graffiti that says Blesin (Blessing?) with a n arrow pointing a wood bard...

In the part of ther apartments where you meet Eddie all the exit doors say Hell with an arrow pointing them...

I'm thinking too much??

I've thought about that, but never really bothered to think deeply about it.

There's also graffitie of a cat on the wall where Laura sits. Then she drew a cat on the foggy window when James walked inside the room she was standing in at Lakeview Hotel. There's a meaning to everything, so you really can't analyze too much in this game because each element is put there for a reason and worth making a theory about. I haven't played SH2 in about 2 years but maybe it's telling James that it's a blessing that there's no way out.

yea I noticed a good bit of graffiti in the game alright... I say a few mad words in the public toilet at the start of the game.. cant remember what they said though.. the hell and arrows pointing at the doors would mean that there's something you dont want to see behind the door.. the monsters do look like their from hell... and the cat in relation to Laura.. I think I read somewhere before that the cat is symbol of innocence and unaware.. I think, dont quo :) te me on that
there are things known and unknown, in between is silent hill

What was with that whole "There as a HOLE here. It's gone now" thing? I could never figure it out.

You can open one of the "Hell" doors, itbtake you to the first floor of the first section of the apartments...

These graffites seem say that the Hell is outside of that section of the buiilding... May be mean the hatred of Eddie for the outside world? ANyway I have more curiosity for the BLESIN thing... Also for the red light that you can see in some parts of the game like the room with the moths and other places that I can't remember now

Now I haven't much knowledge about Lewis Carol's book, but could the cat we see with Laura be a reference to the Chesire Cat. Doesn't it always seem to be appearing places, kind of like Laura?

im not sure if it's the 2nd or the 3rd, im pretty sure its the second, but whenever u see ZOE graffitti, that's Konami's other game Zone of the Enders. that's the only reference i've noticed in any graffitti just on the walls or w/e.

Yeah, Konami loves putting in references to other games of theirs. You can get a ZOE box in Metal Gear Solid 2, and you can find a silencer near a very cemented Solid Snake in SH3. I wonder how many more of these references are in Silent Hill.

It's not Snake, it's not Colonel Campbell, it's not anyone. In fact, I'm still not sure how a silencer is a solid reference to MGS anyway.

There's one in the apartment block that says "Worf Killin Shat". Some believe this to be a distorted "Wife Killing Shit", but it's actually, supposedly, something to do with Star Trek.

As a metal gear solid fanatic I am sickened by that statement. The silencer = stealth. Stealth = Metal gear solid. Metal Gear Solid = Konami. Silent Hill = Konami.
See?
And can someone please tell me where Neely's Bar is. Cause I feel like I'm the only one who hasn't seen the "Hole was here" thing. I wann find it one my second time through.

This is in fact a Metal Gear refrence, according to the 'offical' Silent Hill 3 guide I own (How much creedence this lends it, I dont know).

However, I very much doubt that Solid Snake, Naked Snake, or any of the other members of FOXHOUND are running about in Silent Hill spraying graffiti. I think it is basicaly an element to have people thinking "Gee, what if blankety blank had happened when I blankety blanked here at blankety blanked and opened the door", thus generating inquiry and countless theories transformed into fan-fictions.

Oddest graffiti I've seen is..in Woodside*, 2nd floor laundry room; along the wall, written in big blue letters it says "Dragon". Wouldn't be so odd if it wasn't for the fact that in Silent Hill 3, when Heather gets off the train at the Unknown Platform, clear as day it says "Dragon" there too.

Some really weird n' obscure shit..

*EDIT: Woodside, not Blue Creek (!), apologies for the screw-up.
