Most annoying haunting.

Henry's locked in his apartment and can't get out. Bless.

I must agree with the kid's shadow...I'm freaked about closets so when i saw it I was scared but all you do is run away and get the candle and put it there.. not too bad... I don't think any other was really annoying.... the one that freaked me almost more than the kid was the portrait of Walter... that one creeped me out and I had no candles at the time or medallions so i had to endure it a couple times but I eventually got rid of it. Xigz, only adive I can give is to put a holy candle on Eileen before the superintendent's room if she's hurt so then all her wounds will go away and she'll walk slower to the razor ball in the last boss but you should hurry after you put it on her cuz they will come back soon. If it has worked well she will be polite to you the last time you see her in the super's room if not she will yell at you. Then in the boss stage i would collect all the spears first and stick em in the monster after you hit him with the umbilical cord so it'll be faster and then good luck with walter. I used to spade... don't use the gun the ammos take up too much inventory space and you'll need that space with the spears. Good luck and if anything try again.

I hate the slippers haunting, I never notice that they move from there original post. So I would just get confused as of why I’m getting damaged every time I walk near the kitchen. I know, I’m an idiot. T.T

I had the shoe haunting, the cat haunting and the victim Henry.. all at once. I did the same thing you did. So no, you're not an idiot.

What I did was I went to see the victim Henry and then healed the door. Apparently it healed the fridge too. I SO wanted to see the cat corpse.

*fumes*

The most annoying had to have been the shadow. Yep. And I too have a phobia about closets. So, it screwed with my head for a while.

There was a bloody carcass wrapped in something, and its stump of a head was shaking around. It didn't petrify me, but it sure left me a bit shaken.

The second time playing through, I heard meowing in my apartment. That startled me so bad, I knew it was that fricking cat haunting so I walked as fast as I could to grab a Holy Candle from the box and throw it in front of the fridge. I swear, that haunting scares me worse than the ghost coming out of the wall.

Although its not tecnically a hauntiong by the games standards (you taking damage) but in the building world before you see braintree die you get a note under the door that says, "you'd better look after your freind" at first i thought it was eileen they were talking about, but then as i walked up to the window to look at braintree, his disembodied head floated by, (it can be seen as you are looking through the two sets of windows, although it falls by, really fats, WHICH scarred me even more. the other way to veiw it is to be standing in front of the windows and wait, it will float by more slowly. Walter walking up to the peep hole everytime you looked out was creepy to, he knew when you were using it.
And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe

I found a screencap finally. It wasn't that good of a pic. I guess, once I hear meowing in the apartment, I'm going straight to the fridge to see it.

Does anyone have a discription of the fetuses above the supply box? I never did take the doll..

The babies in the wall above the storage box aren't that bad other than the sound that they make. Thats by far the worst thing. That......Sound.....

As for a description, the look like 2 or 3 rows of maybe five deformed writhing melted together newborns.

I have never had any problems with hauntings, normally I have enough medallions or holy candles to deal with them, on any difficulty, except for one, which was the bloody couch, because I couldn't find it.

I also had the slippers haunting. I didn't take notice of them moving and I stood like right in front of the oven, draining my health for the longest time, trying to figure out what the hell was going on. Then I had brains enough to look down and see the bloody footprints and slippers. xD

First time I played the game, I didn't know the hauntings could be stopped, so I had every single one of them at one time before, including the bleeding peephole. Once I found out what was on the other side, I wanted to see it for myself outside of a screenshot, but I never got it again. :(

You know you can avoid that haunting, don't you, by not accepting the doll from Walter and not putting it in your item chest? At least I believe so; I've heard other people say this, and when I didn't take the doll, I didn't get that haunting.

My least favorite hauntings are all of the ones inside the bedroom. It's so aggravating to wake up to that immediately and have to dash out of the room ASAP (unless you use a holy candle, in the process of which you lose a good bit of health right in Henry's own bedroom). It'd just be nice if the bedroom remained a safe haven.

I never pick up the doll, but I still get the ghosts.

^ You still get the children coming through the wall above the items chest? Interesting... didn't happen to me when I declined the doll.
