Best (or worst) hauntings

Post by Eddie_gun_blaster »

Well people we have lots of hauntings in that room, some scarier and others not so much, which ones do you think are the creepiest, or niecer?

The number 1 for me surely was the image of henry when you look in the door, gosh, i wasn't expecting that and soon, "me" looking in that hell way to me, and so close to me, i just screamed WHAT THE FUCK... and its creepy too when the blood starts to fall down from the door's hole, totally unexpected too...

This one was the creepiest for me, but the figure of walter in the church's portrait is creepy too, and the voice in the phone "i'm...always...waiting...for...you". I saw in gamefaqs that there is a haunting of walter appearing on the TV, but unfortunately i didn't see that. Must be scary.
The children in the wall when you take that damn doll are creepy too, as well the ghost that always appears in the wall.

My first ending was "21 sacraments" so my room was like hell xD

I find the "kitty" in the fridge the scariest

The cat was definitely freaky, and the blood coming out of the faucet.

I played this game so long ago that I can hardly remember. But I do remember one that was slightly humorous. A severed head that floats past the window in the lounge room.

i noticed that in my second play through, but its not exactly a haunting, because i saw it before exiting a world before the hospital.
but it was freaky, and kinda funny

The cat in the fridge was horrifying. Poor kitty :(
The best was definitely the blood coming from the faucet/door's peephole. And funniest was Henry's shoes walking + the bloody footprints.

Well, I found really scary the phone haunting (I'm always watching you) and the bloody peephole with Henry on the other side.

The most annoying was the walking shoes, as they covered the most area and were the hardest to get rid of.

My favorite was either the cat in the fridge or the bleeding faucet.

The worst was the 'Wall Haunting' above the storage box, as I thought it was just stupid. It is completely avoidable, though.

Damn, I need to play this game again, if only to see more of the hauntings.

What actually is it that decides how many hauntings you will see? I've played it a couple of times, picked up the doll both times which I thought caused more hauntings, but I've still only seen the tv and the wall of babies.

i think its somewhat random. Maybe if you don't exorcise the hauntings more will appear, but i dont know.
and the doll only influence the appearing of the babies haunting, nothing more.
My first time through i saw lots of haunting, the only ones i didnt see was the TV and the little walter

yeah, I saw it twice, once was after returning from the 2nd time through the water prison.
It seemed like little Walter was praying or calling his "Mother"...

Yeah, the kid in the closet was really freaky, and the baby ones close to the storage box were disturbing. My favorite one is "Demon Henry".

Not really a haunting, but very very rarely if you look out of the windows, you'll see one of those baby faces from the 8th Victim monster float past. I was totally unprepared for that happening, and it freaked the living daylights out of me.

It's not so much the hauntings that scare me as the noise that they make when you approach them. I hate loud noises, and I just want to make it stop. The TV and radio static are horrendous.
