In easy mode the code is randomly assigned each game play...the puzzle isn't that hard to figure out though; just rearrange the books in the correct order, I-V

Go explore the bookshelves. See the books on the floor? Examine them.

The numbers are always random, but more importantly, they are 4-digit numbers.

If you put the books back in the bookshelves in order, and then examine the bookshelf again, you will be given a view of those books on the bookshelf and it should just spell the numbers out to you.

I think the best way is to draw the shapes on each book (instead of faffing about trying to put them in order), then look at what you've drawn and match them up. It's always random, but it's fairly easy

It's not easier than putting the books in numerical order.

Please don't bump old threads. The original poster has made it well beyond this point and no longer needs assistance here.
