Alessa's Father? (Spoilers)

Heather finds out why it's true that you shouldn't talk to strangers. Or look in mirrors, quite honestly.

Alessa's Father? (Spoilers)

Post by AgentX7k »

Though it's never specified who Alessa's biological father is, one assumes it was either Kauffman or any willing male member of the cult. But wouldn't it be cool if it was Leonard.

1. Meaning that the bond Alessa and Claudia shared was not just that they were 'like sisters' but were in fact half sisters. (Or maybe even full sisters, since Claudia’s biological mother is never mentioned)
2. That also means that Heather kills her own blood.
3. Even better, and ironic, that means on the path of avenging her adoptive fathers death, Heather kills her real father.

Pretty sure it's not Leonard, but I like what it adds to the dynamic if it were true

Any thoughts?

That would be super cool. And it is totally possible... I eman, I knwo the popular opinion is Kauffman... But people make mistakes... And a few hundred years ago, popular opinion was that the world was flat.

I don't think this is true...

Alessa's mother = Dahlia.

C'mon. If you were Leonard, would you bone Dahlia? C'mon now. Hopefully he had higher standards than that, even in the cult.

Oug! Who the hell knows who Alless'a father really is.
Dounbt it was one of those," I just woke up pregnant", things
too. That would be a little too Jesus Christ, Neo, Anikan Skywalker for
me. If you ask my opinion Dahlia in all of her repulsiveness, outwardly
and inwardly, probably got pregnant during the 13th annual Cult Kegger.
In that case anybody could be the father.

This is one of the many reasons that I love this show so much. So many plot twists and withing in a mise in abyme style makes it a match for Evangelion. But on this aspect I believe that your asumption was correct Leo was the biological father.

Kaufmann wasn't exactly a member of The Order. He worked with Dahlia for his own monetary gain: through selling the drugs that the cult used to regular people. In exchange for The Order's aid in his drug ring, Kaufmann provided care for Alessa after she was burned. It would make no sense whatsoever for Kaufmann to be Alessa's father. He wasn't nearly that close to Dahlia.

To little Claudia, Happy 6th birthday!
I love you as if you were my real sister. Here's to you!

This indicates that they are not sisters biologically, only "sisters" in The Order.

I didn't know Alessa was actually the product of a sperm and an egg.

It's never hinted at the Alessa even had a father, and it's possible she was created during a ritual (which makes more sense, seeing as how Dahlia's intention was to birth the Mother of God). How could she do this by shagging Kaufmann?

And even if Alessa DOES have a father, the fact that no mention of his very existence is made tells me that it really doesn't matter who he is.

Not entirely true. Alessa was originally born & raised to simply be a Priestess of The Order, just like her mother, Dahlia. It wasn't until later on--round six or seven years later--that Dahlia realized she could be used as the Holy Mother.

There was no ritual involved in the birth of Alessa. She has a father, but it's irrelevant as to who it is.

It would be a shock to me if the father was someone like Jimmy Stone or someone that high up in one of the Sects.

Then Kauffman couldn´t be the father.Maybe Alessa simply doesn´t have a father, and she is something like a miracle of God.

Think of Italy — which reminds me of California in so many ways — and its chronic inability to form a government. That’s California, with even better food and no parliamentary system.

I doubt we have an Anakin Skywalker incident inside the cult, her father just isn't important or dead-d.e.d- :) dead

No, she's not a prodigal child; she's just a normal girl that was born with special powers she didn't understand. Her father is unknown, and there isn't any evidence to suggest who it really was--only evidence against who people claim it to be.

If Leonard was Alessa's father, who's t say that Claudia or Alessa actually knew about it? They probably wouldn't.

They both have their own abilities & "concealed powers." I'm certain they'd be able to figure it out. Plus sisters typicaly kinda-sorta look alike: Alessa's black hair doesn't match Claudia's blond.

Debating with comments such as There's nothing to prove otherwise will only go so far, especially when there's strict evidence against it.

Alessa's father is Harry mason. That's the whole point of the story. Where does blood become more valid than love and parenthood?

Her biological father is completely unimportant. We know her father.

Whether it's unimportant or not... It's still nice to kinda know these thigns... I know two sisters who look nothing alike... One of them has long curly dark brown hair and the other has short straight blonde hair... Genetics can go weird sometimes. Me, I think it's plausible. And I'm going to try and prove it.
