>It's still nice to kinda know these thigns...
I agree. But when it's impossible to descry, there's no point in searching for answers that aren't there.
Vincent tells the woman he's speaking with in the audiotape If God wills it Sister, if God wills it. The Clergy consistently call one another Brother or Sister, but that doesn't make them biologically related.
And don't you think Claudia would have, at some point, that they were family? I sure would. Something like that would play a crucial role in Alessa's history, and it would've been mentioned and/or made apparent in at least one of the two games.

“C'mon. If you were Leonard, would you bone Dahlia? C'mon now. Hopefully he had higher standards than that, even in the cultâ€
LOL! That’s actually a good argument
“And even if Alessa DOES have a father, the fact that no mention of his very existence is made tells me that it really doesn't matter who he isâ€
Well it doesn’t really matter, but it also means it’s left open for interpretation, like heaps of other things in the series. They always give enough backstory so you understand what’s what, but never so you actually know everything.
“Not entirely true. Alessa was originally born & raised to simply be a Priestess of The Order, just like her mother, Dahlia. It wasn't until later on--round six or seven years later--that Dahlia realized she could be used as the Holy Motherâ€
Really? I thought the whole reason she was born was as a vessel.
“Plus sisters typicaly kinda-sorta look alike: Alessa's black hair doesn't match Claudia's blondâ€
Well they would only be half sisters in my theory.

Numerous sources I have read, including Silent Hill websites and Wikipedia have said that a daughter was born into the world from Dahlia and Kauffman as a daghter who could physically birth god.

They're mistaken. Especially Wikipedia. She was raised to become a Priestess of The Order, just like her mother; the flashback at the top of the stairs, outside of Alessa's bedroom, is indicating Dahlia's realization that Alessa could be the Holy Mother, so she changed her plans to suit that.
This information is provided in an Official guidebook--much the same as Silent Hill Chronicles that so many consider The Bible--provided by Team Silent after Silent Hill 1 was released. It's official information, and anything else--the belief that Alessa was born only so that she'd be the Mother of God--is fan-fiction.

Because I have countless times before, and I don't exactly feel like typing a bibliography everytime I make a new post... Re-read my post.

I was talking about a source that proves your theory about Alessa being born to take over the cult like her mother had over the theory that she was born to birth god.
And it's only 20 pixels over in height and 180 under in length but if you insist...

I just said to re-read my post. But, since people don't like reading what's not in front of them:

>it's only 20 pixels over in height
Yep. That's still over the limit.

>probably got pregnant during the 13th annual Cult Kegger.
lol! I doubt anyone could be that drunk...
Was it just chance that Alessa was born with her powers, or was it a combination of Dahlia and the Unknown Father's powers? Would we be getting into the Harry Potter theory of a Muggle born witch?
In the Midwitch school library isn't there an article about teenage girls with ESP? I like that theory. Then it wouldn't really matter who her father was at all.

i personally don't care who her father is. if he isn't important enough to mention or show then it doesn't even matter. he was probobly some random cult member who just knocked up dahlia. plus i don't think dahlia ever planned on giving birth to "alessa the mother of god" it just sorta happened, like a last minute thing. those are my 2 cents take' em or leave' em.
