i tried searching for anything about this, but does anyone know what the underpass actually is for?
i know its for the sewer system, but why are there the many strange brick-walled corridors in the midst of the concrete ways?
it would be a little bit normal if there was one route to the sewersystem, but that many strange and especially unobvious routes?

And on top, anyone has good ideas about what caused the huge bloodsmear in the room with the maul?

Exactly. Why does a video game need to have realistic sewers? And who has even been to a sewer anyway?

Well, the maul was sticking out of a bloody locker. So I guess the person in it got "mauled" so to speak.

Honestly sewers in videogames and movies are always really clean. Even in this game.
