At the end of 3 she states "I'm not hiding anymore" when he calls her Heather so her dad must have told her to say she's Heather to everyone but he wanted her to know he wanted her real name to be Cheryl maybe called her that around the house but outside it's Heather something like that.

Heather is the alias Harry has her assume cause bad shit goes down and they have to go on the run after Harry guns down a Cult Member. So he has her change her name.
