I like this part too. I think the under water statue things change depending on the playthrough too, I'm not certain though.phantomess wrote:Probably my favorite moment was swimming across the lake and realizing I could look down and see stuff at the bottom. Then I got kind of freaked out and tried to swim quickly, heh.
What was your favorite / freaky / cool moment in the game???

I enjoyed this game too much, but specially liked when:
Cybil's last scene in the game, and of course the big twist ending.
All Dr. K's scenes and tests.
The forest chase scene.
Hell I loved this game.

Lisa in the brief moment she is in the game and death scene as well as Cybil pointing her gun to Harry and then freezing again

totally! I think that's the best part of the game!Messenger wrote:My favorite moment was getting off the boat after you wake up near the end.
The part where you're running to the light house, and then swimming the rest of the way.
I called it, "Harry's last stand".

Yep, swimming for me too. That sequence was fantastic.
Oddly, around two weeks before playing Shattered Memories, I had some nightmare where I was in a plane. I don't remember what was happening but it wasn't pleasant and I wanted the dream to end. I knew the best way to do that would be to kill myself. I jumped out of the plane and fell. Below me was the ocean.
As I approached the water, I saw huge statues under the surface. And then I hit and woke up.
The statues were nothing like Silent Hill and it was day and open ocean but, still, when I hit that point in Shattered Memories, I was instantly brought back to that dream. Very eerie.

My fav part of the game, hands down was:

was drawing the "Happy Family" picture and having it actually become the colors of the house on Levin street.

That underground facility in the forest. I was thinking: "Rust! I see rust! Oh, no." I was getting nervous, more nervous than walking in the forest alone. I thought Climax had played us and put the rust back in the game but no, it was just a rusty, old facility, nothing more. But that sight gave a very unsettling feeling. And maybe the whole tunnel system leading to the park, too the first time I played it.

Is that a young Walter Sullivan in your profile picture?Cursed wrote:Seconded. I just kinda sat there, turned to my friend: "..did that fish just puke?"Suiko wrote:It was also really weird when you're in the sewer and you see that fish in the drain with a hook in its mouth, so you yank on it and it flops around, pukes, dies. I just sorta thought wtf I thought it was already dead, grabbed the ring, and kept going.
On topic: I liked the extra detail of the bleeding body bag, freaked me out.
