What do you think is the reason why there are monsters in the town?And he is sometimes in the foggy world?

SH1 did a decent job of explaining it. If you're still confused after that, SH3 spoon-feeds you the answers.

Yeah, Alessa is there, which explains a lot potentially, and in a couple of places it's been suggested that there is some stuff in travis' past, though i'm not sure what yet, but that could explain his being stuck there in the first place. I'm sure we'll all figure out when the game comes out.

SH1 were all projections from Alessa's mind. SH2 were James, SH3 was Alessa/Heather again. SH4 were Walter's.

I'm guessing SH0 will be a combination of both Alessa's and Travis' minds. I especially like how the opening of Travis running down the road is similar to SH2's opening and James running towards Silent Hill, and how the part later where Travis awakes on the bench is similar to Harry in the diner in SH1. SH0 will probably bore into both Alessa's and Travis' minds some more... more so for Travis.

the nurses are always there, but i dont see too much of the other creatures.

iv seen the movie versions of the nurses and the lying figures in pics iv looked at on gamespot.com
