Pyramid Head has an eye

I was searching around for some pictures of Pyramid Head the other day and I ran across some pictures of pyramid head, he had an eye. It opens on his right side of the pyramid head. It was quite strange. I never knew it before.

Maybe he is referring to the "flap" on PH's...well...pyramid. In the first scene when James flips out in the closet it seems that PH moves aside a flap with his left hand. And then near the end right before

There again seems to be a flap on PH's helmet that moves...but I really don't think that classifies as an "eye"...and you can't see an eye either to my knowledge.

I'm not exactly sure what it is (aside from one of the most disturbing things I have ever seen). Supposedly it was a video test that got pretty...intense. It's from the Lost Memories Silent Hill Art DVD, and in this PH does have a definite square shaped hole in the left side of his helmet. Some scenes look like there could even be an eye behind it...but you can't really see that well. And its not the exact same model used in the game anyway.

Anyway, this is a worthy watch, and it could explain the "eye" thing. (oh, and did I mention it is extremely disturbing? Because it is.)

what do you mean an eye ? i know the original PH has a tiny red crack in his helmet(i presume its so he can see) . i never seen a flap or anything, and this eye certainly isnt obivous.

Movie stills have no relevance to the game. The movie and games are not canon.

Pyramid Head's outfit is different, anyway.

Fine then. I couldnt find the picture I saw but this will do. His eye is almost impossible to see in the game. You probably could with a high-def tv. To me it looks like an eye. You can call it whatever you want.

it doesnt look like anything. not an eye, or a flap. im pretty sure if his helmet is metal or steal it wouldnt have a flap and that could be shaped like an eye, but other than shape, there are no other characteristics to prove its an eye or to prove that its just not a shadow or rust.

Look at any modern ph pic and see theres nothing. but you look at a fucked up one with shadow and try to claim its something?

But unfortunately it is out of stock there now. And on another website that sold it it was out of stock there as well. Also, since it was released only in Japan you need to mod your PS2 or DVD player to play it...or get a gameshark.

I am thinking the best bet would be eBay. Still, it looks really awesome and I would like to own it as well.

And back to the topic at hand. In both of the scenes that I mentioned in my post before it seems that PH actually sticks his hand inside his helmet...which is what I thought to be a flap. Regardless that would imply that there is some sort of hole in his helmet...but its much too dark to really see anything other than that. The area where he places his hand, however, is consistant with the video I posted that shows the visible square-shaped hole in the helmet.

What conclusions you want to draw from this information are entirely up to you, since the video is not from the actual game (though it was made by the same designer), and in the game you really cannot conclusively see the hole itself, or inside of that hole.

Where in the game was these Screen shots taken? i dont remember that background. For the eye thing its kinda like an alien eye like from men in black lol.
