Pyramid Head and Maria: James' mind at war with itself.

James got a letter. From a dead person. Oh dear.

Really, though, does anyone on this thread not want to bear AITT's children?
I do think, however that Pyramid Head is there to be overcome (When James accepts his guilt, or whatever), which I guess is partially contradictory to the "He's a bad man" thing.
So, like if Maria is James' retreat from his guilt, PH is more or less his guilt. Once you accept your guilt and accept what causes it, you can move on and be free of that guilt.

Also, go here for all of the Born From A Wish videos.

Cool man, actually This makes a lot of sense, I mean, why would the PH kill the bad girlif they are suppose to be allies? Yes, the PH is there to help James awake from his nightmare (delusion).

This kind of thread (and yes this had probably been said to death already but hey, I'm new!) is the kind of reason I joined this forum. Silent Hill isn't just a game in some respects, it gets right down on the psychological level of every human being almost, makes people think and re-think not just about the game but about characteristics that make us who we are.
Also Alone In The Town, and Monobrows' postings were very informative and certainly made me take a different light on the game. The first time I played it I thought PH was there to punish James for his sins, but when Maria appeared to be Mary, then turn back to Maria in the Labyrinth made me think twice if he was really the enemy or more of a forceful way of directing him to the truth.

By far one of the most well thought out theories I've read.

I'm too lazy to read all five of the pages, so if anything's changed...remember that I'm being laaazzzyyy.

The HOLE does not have anything to do with Silent Hill 4.

Yes. Plenty of it. If you'd look around once in awhile, you'd find it.

>no, its Silent Hill dude, nothing is for deffonite
This is a cop-out answer used in any debate. If that's the case, if "nothing is for deffonite (sic)" then I can say Mary was a robot designed to fit inside a rocket with the intent of launching into the North Pole.

Yea, a work of fiction that's INTENDED to be analyzed as we're doing in order to get the full enjoyment of it. We shouldn't take things at face value? Yea, that's exactly OUR point, and thus you contradict yourself.

Pyramid Head being Walter makes as much sense as Henry being Valtiel.

That is to say, not much sense at all. Sorry.
I'm not dead yet, dammit.

^Not too small for me to read hahahaha! Like the joke.

I love seeing all of the crazy, shit theories people come up with.

The UFO ending is the real ending....and and Robbie the Rabbit is the
reincarnation of Huey the Horse......and...and Claudia was the Daughter
of Dahlia and PH and James' real name was Jose Poindexter Yoshioto JR XIII
and is from Milan Tennessee. Valtiels real name is Rover and the Incubus
was not in the image of Lobsel Vith, but that of Jessica Simpson in here acne
days before plastic surgery.

Nice Theory,
I always thought Pyramid Head was Mary's servant.
He has the mission to guide James through his quest (violently) but
kill him if he doesn't understand what he must do to proceed.
The final PH battle is a trial to see if he is worthy to confront Mary.
The Pyramid Heads do not get killed by James but suicide because Mary
commands them so, because she wants to deal with him, herself.

At least is what I believe about PH.

just how many of them exist? Are they only 2 or more?
Also PH's later on use spears not swords, is it because the PH left the Great Knife in his chamber?

Where can you buy the comics? Don't say onling, I hate eBay and Amazon. I looked at a nearby Books a Million, but couldn't find any.

If you aren't willing to buy over the net, give up now.

alone in the town:
I hadn't considered the possibilities of Pyramid Head as a saviour in order to point the right way, only as a judge just doing his job. But I did think of him as more of a positive critter than a negative one, no matter how much of a vigilante he might have been. I like the thought process. Er, yours and his. If he had one.
It makes damn good sense, though. Just about everything in SH works to the purpose of pointing the character/player to a set of information and prompting them to draw conclusions, and almost exclusively to that purpose, so certainly PH, too.
