I played through the game once and I learned that Alex is not a real solider.
His dog tags that he is wearing are actually is his dads.
I'm in the Shepherd's house after Alex's mom gets kidnapped and in the attic, I noticed the jacket that is displayed that you have to decorate with the medals. Its the same jacket that Alex is wearing.
Do you think that Alex is also wearing his father's jacket?
Do you think that after Alex goes to the mental hospital that Alex is wearing his dad's clothing and accessories to be the person his dad wanted to be or what?
Alex and his dad's stuff

I guess considering the way that Alex sees things, there's a level of immaturity deep within Alex's mind......I'd say sooner or later his mind would have snapped anyway. :p
Value your failures more than your successes. Successes only last until someone screws them up. Failures are forever. She left...and...I'm lost.
Haha, you're right. I actually loved Homecoming. The emotions were very obvious, we could feel Alex's sadness and confusing.
So, uh... Adam put Alex in a mental hospital, the day Josh died, right? Adam mentions something about Alex ruining it for everybody, when holding Josh's dead body.
The 4 founding families had to sacrifice a kid each, and Adam mentions something about choosing Alex. Does he refer to choosing to sacrifice Alex? So the families actually had connection to Silent Hill all along? Which is why Josh were always favoritized.

With Alex wearing his father's things, I see that as him still being a child who seeks his father's approval. Because his father continued to reject him, he's attempting to become something his father cannot reject: a copy of him.
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend to be one of those deaf-mutes.
