The Smoke version more or less seems to be "the same", but it's mono (at least on the DLP release I have) and is missing lots of low frequencies present in the Twisted City sample, which is a large part of what makes the Forest pad what it is.
EDIT1: By the way, guys, it seems libraries by Inertia Pro rips off Zero-G at least twice:
Bizarre Rhythms = Malice in Wonderland
Synthetic Cycles = Chemical Beats
Which makes me wonder if Peculiar Beats by Inertia Pro is also originally a Zero-G library. I don't think I have any other library with the drumloops used in Terror in the Depths of the Fog, or A Stray Child, which is the only two samples Peculiar Beats is known for (to me at least). The good thing is folder structures, names and whatnot seems intact, comparing them to the AKAI releases, so maybe it won't be too hard to track down. Any ideas?
EDIT2: Ah yeah, now it's coming back to me. It was mentioned previously that those samples were from a Sony library. But that is actually a rebranded library of the same name, "Funky Xtreams" by Inis, a Japanese company:
http://web.archive.org/web/20010527112111/http://www.inis.co.jp/fuel_e/detail_fun_e.html. It was originally released 1998, based on the copyright info in the Sony ACID files.
EDIT3: Was this ever used or am I crazy?
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/48454461/aud/samples/Track%2030%20s%204.wav. Sounds familiar..
EDIT4: Don't think this has been documented?
