Silent Hill 2
Track: Pianissimo Epilogue
Sample Library: Bizarre Guitar
Sample Name: SLEEPCYCL2 (or same pad as The Day of Night)
Time of Sample: 0:00

Play with D-4 + D-5 then D-4 + A-4.

Silent Hill 2
Track: Save Theme
Sample Library: Bizarre Guitar
Sample Name: HEREAFTER
Time of Sample: 0:01

It's the sample at the end of the save theme. It starts about halfway into the original sample. Play it with A#3.

The "search for" tool doesn't make the search just within the topic, it tries to search through
the entire silenthillforum , so I am not sure if this was already discovered:

Silent Hill 2 - Homecoming
Track: (the fx sound when you pick up an item)
Sample Library: Zero G: Fields of Motion
Sample Name: DIVINER (left channel)
Time of Sample: 0:00

Avith: Yeah, the forum search here is pretty shitty, always some bug in it.. You can use Google like this:

"Samples used by Akira Yamaoka" "...insert track title/library/whatever here..." site:silenthillforum.com

Quotation marks are needed for exact search phrases. Learn to use it, because it doesn't look like the developers here cares about fixing the search function. :p

Thanks for the tip! And yeah, the search tool was working fine before but now it doesn't.

Well, I remember seeing something on the thread in a YouTube video, but it was never properly documented, so:
Silent Hill 2
Track: Laura Plays The Piano
Sample Library: Spectrasonics: Bizarre Guitar
Sample Name: GEISHA
Time of Sample: 0:24

Also, I think SHUDDER from Bizarre Guitar (an altered version of SHUDD, the butterfly room noise) might be the sound that plays on the movie when Rose opens up the stall.

Hmmm it seems I can't download the sample collection ViviSect has on the front page. Anybody who can share it?

Hmm I don't know what's up with FileSmelt. Nisto, I'll add your Mediafire link to the first page, if you don't mind.

Not sure if the original creator already posted this here or something, but check this out:

Pretty nice remake! The violin sounds better than in the original in my opinion.

That was made by me! haha

It's been awhile since I made it, but I'm pretty sure I used Miroslav Philharmonik for the violin. I meant to work on that cover a bit more (the mix is pretty rough), but I never got around to it. I might eventually! :)

If there's any Zero-G libraries that anyone is wanting, now would be the time to get 'em. They're having a 50% off Black Friday sale until Sunday. The offer excludes only their newest libraries. Use the code "BF" at checkout.

No idea if Big Fish Audio is doing anything for Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Whatever. If so, I might go ahead and pick up Infinite Sound: Ambient Atmospheres.

Are any of them of any interest? I think we have most of them anyway.
