The first ending I got was the Bad ending. But that's not too much of a surprise cause not only was it my very first time playing silent hill, I was going completly blind! No guide or anything. I played HORRIBLY.

Good, no plus. I was so distraught at having to kill Cybil, but couldn't find any recourse but to beat her to death violently while laughing like a maniac.
How sad.
*edit* To be fair, I DID attempt an alternate solution. Ran around for a while, avoiding her, looking for an escape route or to wear her down if there was some timer or something, then trying to shoot her in the back and shoot the red parasite thingy.

The first time I beat it....I unfortunatly got the Bad ending. Because.....
I didn't know how to do either one and I didn't wanna check what to do yet, cuz I wanted to play it myself with no help.

First time I beat it I got the ending where Kaufman appears and uses the aglaophatis (sp?) but I didn't save Cybil...I think that's the Bad+ ending. Haven't played the game since then.

"Passion" is such an overused word that it's lost all meaning. I'm not passionate about the Silent Hill series. I like it a lot, and I enjoy it, but I'm not passionate about it. The person that I think of as being truly passionate is Jesus.
I am not Jesus of Silent Hill.
I am not Jesus of Silent Hill.

Words are meant to be developed in terms of sense and purpose.. otherwise our language wouldn't have had any meaning at all. Our maybe we wouldn't have had any language at all.
The word passion is so widely discussed that it's not lost all meaning. Instead, it has developed new meanings. Classic passion is when your heart aches and your eyes are filled with tears, but that's far from everything it is today.
I'm not passionate in the classic way about the Silent Hill series either, but I do think I'm passionate about it in some way I can't put a word on.
