Okay, you know after you get the key in the dog house and then go into it? and the basment door is locked? Is there a way to get a key to go into the basement of that house? and what is in the basement?

PRIME_BBCODE_SPOILER_SHOW PRIME_BBCODE_SPOILER:
that is a secret room containing the katana, a secret weapon. You will have to beat the game your first time through to get it but a lot of people don't agree about how you unlock it. Some say you need to complete a bad or bad+ ending. Others say a good/good+ ending and others go by bad+/good+ ending.

Anyway, beat the game and look at your result screen. If the katana is visible, that means you can start a new game and that door will be unlocked.

I was pretty sure you had to beat it on hard too.

But then again, I never did get that one for myself, that was pretty much the only thing I haven't done in that game.

The painting

Post by silenced angel »

In that house there's a painting in the wall next the table where the save point is located, it looks weird, first I thought it was Alessa's hospital bed, but right now, I don't know what is it, has someone else watched that?

thanks for reading.

Someone should just beat the game with whatever endings you think you need to get the Kitana so we'll know for sure what endings we need

You have to beat the game on hard mode and start a New Fear game. The door should be open then.

From what I remember, I got the good+ ending many times and the door was unlocked.
Also, it's not a basement, it's just a room.

You started up a topic that died on the 24th of may for that? For something that had nothing to do with this topic?

When all the information on how to get the katana is on this topic.

Why silenced angel? WHYYyyyyyy?

^ He searched for a topic that dealt with the "dog house house", found this and posted his question. There's nothing wrong with that, it's a very topic-related question.

Okay then

Post by silenced angel »

In that case, I think I got the katana when I finished the game for first time (BAD+), I hope that makes you happy figurine.
Now, I'm not sure, but the owl painting appears on K. Gordon's house, but I think the painting at doughouse is a different one, I remember different colors, brown, yellow, and figures, maybe is an abstract image, and my mind just tries to find references everywhere. If you play the game check that painting please.

thanks for reading.

I know this may be off-topic, but for some reason I laughed at what Figurine wrote because I totally pictured her doing some fists of frustration towards the ceiling and yelling "whyyyyyyy?' and sinking to the floor in despair, and I have never even seen Figurine before, lmao.
I am so sorry but that made me laugh even harder than the day my 6 year old lost on his Mario game and held his Game Boy up towards the ceiling and yelled "Curse you, Game Boy! Curse you!"
*ahem* Back to the topic at hand. I hope someone else will check that painting, silenced angel, because I would say I'll try to do it tomorrow, but I most likely will not get to it. I have entranced myself in a Dragonball Z marathon and I can't quit until I hit the end!

It's by getting any Bad ending and any Good ending. I got it by getting Bad, then Good+
