By the way, to add to the thing about Sharon calling out Silent Hill, bear in mind this is the name of a town Sharon has NEVER HEARD OF, and Rose herself had to look it up. If your child is literally pulling true information out of thin air without having ever been exposed to it, it's probably not a bad idea to look into it.

Plus, Rose said the adoption agency had told her Sharon was from West Virginia, so it seems she thinks Sharon came from there.

Hell, the movie wasn't written by the same people as the games. Of course there are going to be screw ups. I mean how can someone confuse a name like Henry with Rose? jk xD
But seriously. I think the whole team should have come together to make this movie along with the original writer and director. It would have been so much better.

I highly doubt it, considering how much people disliked SH4. Face it, they were running out of steam.

True.. I'm just so glad that they didn't agree to make a movie version of the second game. It would be horrific.

See, I was always under the impression that the whole coal mine thing was used in the movie as a cover-up for the fire caused by the burning ritual for Alessa.

^I can see them trying to turn it into that for a future movie, but I thought there were records and stuff. And wasn't it still burning?

The fire was started by the pit turning over. The coals that rolled out of the pit set the church on fire, and those trapped underneath it burned down into the mines beneath the town. That's why there's a giant hole in the floor of the secret church.
