Sorry if this has been done before but I did try searching.

Does anyone know of any bands that are either influenced by Silent Hill (not just by the Silent Hill music, but the game itself) and/or any bands that directly reference the series?

I have found UK black metal band The Axis of Perdition, they use the Silent Hill font for their band logo and their artwork, song titles and lyrics are mostly all influenced by Silent Hill, they also use soundclips from SH in their songs! They also have a dark ambient side project called Pulsefear who make similar references.

I also found a band named B-Violet who have an album called "The Real Nightmare In Silent Hill" but that is about it. Does anyone know any more?

Jack off Jill had a whole song called "Witch Hunt" that featured the Lakeside Amusement Park carousel music from SH1, along with the soft, delicate sounds of Jessika screaming that she was burning. Pretty sure that's based on Alessa... Their album "Clear Hearts Gray Flowers" starts off with the SH1 radio static, too.

Novistador, the music is based off of RE, but the latest demo's very Yamaoka influenced.
