The cat? Do you mean the skinned one in the fridge?Piranha wrote:Exacly! It´s probably the most detailed game of the four, when it comes to relevant stuff! Remember the cat? Almost nobody sees him!

I always thought that Heather was far more emotional about it than the other characters. She at least freaks out on more than one occasion, usually at other people in relation to the situation (Oh ho, a rhyme!) and often has plenty to say at horrific objects. It makes sense to me that she wouldn't c...

EDIT: I've been trying to figure out what really peeved me about the film as an adaptation, and I think I finally put my finger on it. In the film, Alessa isn't so much a character as she is a plot point. You can hardly claim she was much of a character in the game either. It's only really the subs...

Plot and Storyline: 6/10 Satisfactory, but didn't go to the emotional level I was hoping for. The plot connected, and it made sense for the most part, but didn't try to go deeper. It could have. In the end, it didn't really connect me to the characters, especially Alessa and the cult members. Actin...

Eh, didn't seem important to me. Plus, I thought Walter would have liked to actually, um, kill the kid and take his heart. I mean, it would be an adaptation, but serial killing seemed rather removed from the kidnapping. Then again I can only speculate based on the games, so...who knows. To be honest...

Hmm. On the same topic, I wonder what the rating will be in Canada...I'd say R as well, since in my opinion, it seems like swearing/sex/nudity is rated lower here, but violence is the same or higher. That's obviously a generalization that not everything adheres to, but it does seem to follow that pa...

I woulda thought the posessed ending would be the true one since it's harder to get. Cuz the happy ending in SH2 sounds good as well...but in SH4, Frank's comments implied that one of the bad endings took place (as his son disappeared)...so who knows if they did the same thing in this one? Couldn't...

I don't understand why Joseph would be so dang creepy about it. Well, all the other people Walter killed are pretty creepy Yeah, but the other people [/spoiler]that he killed don't help you- Joseph explains a great deal of the game to you, and helps you defeat the final boss. The other ghosts float...

^I think I read somewhere that it is Joseph, but until I hear it for myself (I'm a mad voice acting freak, so I can recognize vocies pretty well), I won't form my own opinion. I regret not opening the fridge when I had the cat haunting. : ( I'd say it definitely doesn't sound like Walter, although ...

very cool. i know how shit like that is. i live near denver, the location and inspiration for Lakeside Amusement Park in the games. i've been there, and it holds a weird ambience to it. Was it actually based off of Lakeside? I've been there tons, and I didn't see any real resemblence in the games.....

I feel her victimization parallels the victimization that James felt due to Mary's illness. If I thought anything regarding this theory, it's that she represents the feelings James was afraid Mary held towards him. However...I don't really think that, it's just an interesting idea. Personally, I th...
